PS3 How to Remarry BlueRay Drive on CFW PS3 Step by Step

My fault, I just checked and its not there anymore. It was available in v4.11.11 and may have been moved/removed in the later versions.

Did you check after inserting a disc?
 
In factory mode, you can insert a blue ray movie disc to fix the hashes. Multiman has to be in mmode to see this option.

But louay old help thread as stated:
  • 14-Insert BD Movie and play it to restore DRL/CRL files or you can use multiMan later "Repair Blueray Movies "Fix DRL/CRL hashes" function

Before remarrying the drive bluray movies did not work, now it works but it stutters and skips. But games still give error 80010017. I inserted a movie after remarrying the drive and while still in factory mode.

Question.... how long do I have to play the bluray movie? I basically waited until the movie menu came onto the screen. Is that long enough?
 
It sounds to be me like your laser on the blue ray is going bad? - the KEM blue ray are notorious for having bad lasers.

I have bought a brand new laser and installed it like 2 weeks ago because everyone said it is the laser. Games and everything was working fine and then just one day after updating system firmware this error thing started.

That error is related to many issues like faulty BD; bad lens; scratchy discs; corrupted FW; Account activation or so.

Is it just with a single game or all of them?
Have you tried updating the FW again?
Deactivating and reactivating from Manage accounts?

I have tried everything you have mentioned above... All my games are affected except the games I have downloaded from PSN. I have now re-installed latest ofw. Busy downloading an update for Heavy Rain. Will see if it works afterwards.
 
Ok so bit of good news, bit of bad... So like I said before I installed latest official firmware and installed update for Heavy Rain and it worked, 2 games didn't have updates so still giving error 80010017. Guitar Hero Live works, god of war 3 and 2 others gets to the loading screen and then freezes the system. Which means updating the games is a hit or miss and is not a 100% fix. Maybe still beter to just get rid of the console and buy another one that works 100%
 
Interesting thread and many thanks to Louay and all for your engagement! At this point i will also share my situation, maybe somebody has the same problem.

I´ve got a PS3 fat with Overflow and installed a new BD drive, wich was working without problems till 4 weeks now. Then i copied the game files with Multiman to the internal HDD over USB. As i wanted to start it, i get a black screen. After that "crash" i´ve installed the newest Overflow 4.85, then Spy with cobra 4.85 wich doesn´t help - every time multiman goes in a blackscreen.

Then i found the explanation from Louay - maybe there is something wrong with the BD. I mentioned that when i start the PS3 in XMB, it don´t take Disks inside. When i touch the Eject button and give him a disk, it works - the BD drive shows the disk.

After this i can start Multiman an all other Homebrew apps :) I had to do this every time when i start the PS3 - first press the eject button, then start multiman. This is not a comfortable solution :)

Thanks to Louay: now i understand that maybe my BD has to be remarried.
I´ve tried both explanations but every time i get the error message in factory mode (at step 13 or step 9):

CEX_drive_init() failed

I can´t remarry the BD. And in Multiman i can´t find the fix broken blueray in the Settings - i use the latest Multiman 4.85 from Brewology: Version https://store.brewology.com/ahomebrew.php?brewid=24
and CFW Rebug 4.85 lite (latest version from Rebug site).

Actually i have to do my solution (press eject then start multiman)

Has anyone a idea, what i can do next?

Don't worry too much about it. You got a verbal warning & you learned your lesson.
I edited your post for you to remove anything about piracy so now just try to follow the rules in the future bud or we may not be so nice.
