Red. Noted. ^^

After two hours, I finally recreated "Platinum rev-A". :D
before: https://psxdatacenter.com/psx2/images2/hires/SLES-51156/SLES-51156-F-ALL.html
after:
Silent Hill 2 - Director's Cut (SLES-51156P).png

The only thing which I ignored, is 'Platinum' bottom bar strictly split into two pieces. It was to ugly for me to agree such heresy, so in my recreation it is one piece, smoothly going from solid colour to lines. Sorry but I cannot resist. ;p BTW: This whole Platinum and Greatest Hits series looks horrible in the first place...

I have in mind disc cases: I know about black, blue (both are common), white (i.e GT4), translucent (i.e MGS2 and MGS2S) and orange (Buzz series). But maybe they are more?

GT3 have black case.
The retail copies of Gran Turismo 3 camed with a black case that is true, but, if you had the PlayStation2 Bundle of Gran Turismo 3 back in 2001 for PAL regions, it would have a red case instead.

You have right. Indeed those GT3 in bundles have red case. After all those years and still finding something new. I even didn't know that Jak & Daxter: Lost Frontier and Secret Agent Clank was released on PS2, I was sure they are PSP exclusives.

Multiple PSP Ports were released, such as Ratchet & Clank - Size Matters, Secret Agent Clank, Jak & Daxter - The Lost Frontier, The Fast and The Furious and Grand Theft Auto - Vice City and Liberty City Stories, thoes were mostly on the consoles mid-life cycle around 2005/2006 when PSP was more popular and $ony decided to focus they're shift by porting PSP Titles to the PlayStation2, but thoes were mostly ports by High Impact Games and Rockstar Leeds,as main studios like Insomniac and Rockstar focused they're efforts to the PlayStation3.

Even Polyphony's Digital Gran Turismo for the PSP its a Gran Turismo 4 port, just with cut content due to the UMD Size, files and cars from Gran Turismo 4 can still be accessed by modifying the Games code, tracks such as Valencia Autodrome its only available for the PSP because, GT4 and Tourist Trophy shares the same Engine File Structure, making Porting fairly easy for the PSP, you can even Port Tourist Trophy's Tracks into Gran Turismo 4 on the PlayStation2.

I finished PAL collection and give up for a while... 279 games covers + 35 templates. Yet still few of them which I want to add, missing:
  • Burnout (SLES-50445)
  • Ecco The Dolphin - Defender of The Furure (SCES-50499)
  • Guilty Gear X2 Reloaded - The Midnight Carnival (SLES-52967)
  • Prince of Persia - Trilogy (SLES-51918,52822,53777)
  • Ratchet & Clank Triple Pack (SCES-50916,51607,52456)
  • Super Bust-A-Move (SLES-50076)
  • The Legend of Spyro - A New Beginning (SLES-54359)
  • The Legend of Spyro - Dawn of The Dragon (SLES-55163)
  • The Legend of Spyro - The Eternal Night (SLES-54815)
Those which I found are extremely poor quality or size, or they are fakes/customs, or no one scan them. :(

As in PSX case, all have tweaked: removed from all covers PAL/NTSC signs, net play etc. banners, so all disc cases looks more consistent.

Download link in first post.

I'm going to be doing PS2 and Saturn sets shortly. Gonna start with OPL Manager Art collection. Gonna work out some basic name convention (usually Lcase(title) with all tags stripped out and " " and - are _ ) convert from their name. I'll be updating my CoversDB links this week more than likely.

Also links in OP are dead. Looks like Mega and Depositfiles don't want to host covers...

Does anyone have some PSP and PS2 games? I'll be glad for making photo with both of them, one on each other just like in template below. I cannot determine the exact sizes. Based on such photo I will be able to calculate proper scale to other cases. ^^

But the real games, You know, physical original copies. ;) When I asked about it, I was looking them to make compare between each other, to set correct proportion between PS2/PSX/PSP as they are in case of PSX/PS2. But no one answer that, and I couldn't find any photo or film or whatever on which I could base, so I did it as I was thinking they should be. And I did it wrong... But I would not correct them because this demands to much work now (all covers should be make again for newer and proper proportions).

Following the idea of as much as possible realistic PSX 2D disc case covers, I started to make the same collection but for PS2.

BTW:
  1. Have someone saw before orange disc case? What title was released in it?
  2. Could someone tell me why some front covers have this strange "wave watermark"? I have few of them like i.e on SH2 or MGS2. :/
  3. Anyone know good address with clean, good quality scans?

Berion, I'm shocked by how much work and heart you've put into this project. It's truly amazing, respect!

BTW, do you guys know where to find HQ ART for discs? NTSC ones are more available, but it's really hard to find anything good for PAL versions that would fit the HIRes theme...

Recently, I spent 2 hours converting a cover from the PC version to the PS2 version for Prisoner of War because I couldn't find anything, but I'm not great at graphic design so result is not so great but better than nothing...

@Lutrus Hello. Thank you. ^^
I didn't yet interested in discs itself. Mainly because their covers are even harder to find in good quality. Most of covers for boxes I work on, was middle core or horrible quality. I did my best for interested me games what I could did.

@Ripto Have some sources of discs due to we last time works on new OPL resources (i.e 256x256 discs). So I believe he will paste you here something good.
