PS3 I bricked my PS3 :( what to do

hello.. ay have ps3 cech3004a bricked . ay buy e3 fllasher and flash dump file but still not work. power working but no hdmi signal. ay dont have a backup. please help.tnx

You cant use a e3 flasher on a 3000.You just waisted your money.

Hahaha E3 Flasher is for Nor Consoles and 3000 have a NOR Chip and console can be recovered by patching the Dump with CoreOS 4.82 of ofw and @littlebalup has made a tutorial on it don't make a wrong answer search on it before

Does this only work if your on 4.82? You wouldnt be able to downgrade from 4.83 to 4.82 now would you?

Someone told me you cant awhile ago

If I remember correctly the chip is a bit different on these models, it's the opposite way round and a few of the pins are different so you crnt get a decent dump of it with a hardware flasher that is use on the earlier models, you can also permanently brick you console if you try to do it this way.

Cant you just nor flash a 3000 or superslim back to 4.82 with a hardmod if you want han back? I know its a costly option compared to just buying a cfw console,but of course a option is still a option.

no you can't EEPROM won't let ps3 boot causing a black screen cause NOR flashed with a inferior coreOS so EEPROM accept same current coreOS version or superior like if you want to go back to 4.82 and have full HAN Functions you cannot EEPROM want let you pass causing ps3 not to boot but just a black screen if this has a bypass then we can say all ps3 models should be exploitables returning to a choice FW

Only NOR PS3s. Some Super slims are eMMC not NOR, They are the 12 GB ones normally.

Your ps3 didnt happen to brick on 4.83 did it?

yes but for 3XXX and NOR Super Slim Cause they have both eMMC and NOR Models eMMC ones have no flasher :3

You still can patch with a CoreOS from a 4.83 OFW and make it work.

There are eMMC flashing kits available but they are professional programming kits for new and in circuit eMMC chips and they are expensive. £169 - £250 for the kits.
