PS3 Its Here - Rebug REX & D-REX Editions Of 4.78.2 Custom Firmware With Official Cobra 7.3

A couple of days ago I reported the unofficial release of the COBRA 7.3 updater for Rebug's 4.78.1 custom firmware. There was some concerns regarding the updater which added the much anticipated COBRA 7.3 version that was developed by Habib and Mysis. This version of COBRA fixed the controller sync issue when launching PS2 ISO's from the XMB's disc icon which was introduced in Habibs 4.78 STARBUCKS[break].[/break] custom firmware. So if you where holding out for the official release of said COBRA 7.3 implemented into the most popular of custom firmwares, the wait is now over!

yeah, that link I posted is probably fine. I always update with update debug, which is why it's named that way and without the PUP extension. I thought Darth Sternie's site would have it, but it seems to be just official updates for both ps3 and ps4. it has damn close to all of them, I think.

I tried waybackmachine to get Rex the other day and it errored out on install. I gave up and installed ferro or evilnat. Rebug needs to get their shit together and fix the damn site already, or at least put the downloads somewhere we can access them and not on ps scene files

i have some rebug files as mega links in bottom tab set here for now if you need. the rebug site itself seems competely offline again at the moment.

@pinky this file did work. I think I found why I have some stability issue to. Webman seams to not working properly.

It's better to update to Rebug 4.86 lite instead of this. It's a little bit old and I don't think anybody is still looking at it. As REX=CEX, I think you should update to Evilnat 4.87.2. If you wanna dex (D-REX), use Rebug 4.84 (it's the latest DEX firmware available).

 

glad it worked, but @jcorrea is right. there's no reason to be on that firmware.

THX for tip's. But webman didn't work properly on Evilnat. That's why I want move to other CFW in first place. Now I get latest one.

If everything work with rebug 4.87 I stick to it. Make no sense to change if nothing is broken. That I use.
