Mamba Loader (+AutoLoader)

First thing is good to made new topic with your problem, more people can help you. More info mean:

PS3 model, your current fw, backup is mounted in? (mM, wM, managuns, irisman) did you tryed different backup manager, app used to backup your game to iso, etc. Also i try figure out that iso work on no bd system. I never tested this so wait patient until i answer, and make new thread with your problem, which is not exactly related to MAMBA LOADER (+AUTOLOADER) i try to answer you there.

new topic opened here ------> http://www.psx-place.com/forum/help...so-able-acces-aplications-2392.html#post18416

for PSX
· Iso (mode 2/2352).
· Cue+bin. Data track must be mode 2/2352.

for PS2
· DVD backups: iso files with 2048 bytes per sector.
· CD backups:
1. ISO files with 2048 or 2352 bytes per sector; CD backups with 2352 bytes per sector are more compatible.
2. Cue+bin: Data track must be mode 2/2352.

now for these PS2 and PSX games if you have a disc Use Imgburn to create the images or check that an existing image meets these specs

for PS3
use genPS3ISO GUI 2.5 by aldos to convert JB folder format games into ISO compatible with Cobra/Mamba

Done and didn't wok, I think am doing something wrong, because am installing and enabling webman thru psnpatch because when I install mamba holding down X I hear a beep but when my PS3 loads back up the webman folder is not there, I have to enable it with psnpatch

Cool.

Just a question. Am not home, no access to PC & tools atm.
Comparing code on a smartphone is totally possible but tedious due to screen size.

You just added the new offsets for new CFWs support which is great & official but some of us have done it already. Have you modified any other code at all?
More to the point, will I need to merge my modified source with your new release when I get home?

Merci _NzV_

someone help me ?
I have the autoloader mamba active, and when I start with a connected usb ps3 always freezes in the intro .
If I disconnect the USB and restart the PS3 starts normally .
I have cfw ferrox 4.76 , someone explain to me why this error happens ?

can you do me a favour and try this new sys_init i have made (used his last source)?

when you have autoloader installed (ONLY THEN!), you can either doubleclick the zip in mmos, or manually overwrite the file "/dev_blind/sys/internal/sys_init_osd.self" with the attached one. if there isn't also a file called "sys_init_osd_orig.self" next to it, then you have not autoloader installed

i have made extensive tests with core, attached usb and ccapi2.00, before i could run it with cobra and i know this problem very well

I already discovered the error with autoloader mamba activo.
When I connect another hard drive with FAT32 partition no problem in the boot of the ps3.
When I connect my another external hard disk that has two partitions , one FAT32 and one in ntfs , I always used the FAT32 primary for my games , but now with the active mamba autoloader freezes in the intro , before loading the logo ps3.
And if I have the mamba autoloader off, everything works normally with external hard drives.

You not gonna like my solution :p Use fat only drive :)

But seriously try change fat from primary to logical (or logical to primary) if this not help then maybe _NzV_ can help somehow. Also important is how big is your drive and partitions on it.

Hi guys, How are you? How can I uninstall completely the Mamba ?, I had a Ferrox and I wore the Mamba,so I deleted the Mamba of XMB to install the HABIB 4.75,but when I was sailing with Filezilla,I saw the Mamba folders still in the system . I think it is loading at startup of the PS3 because the Webman is being loaded by file mamba_plugins.txt.

I got hangover, but i feel good... But back to topic, first you need to install pkg again then:

Hold SQUARE when "MAMBA/PRX Loader" start to uninstall "MAMBA/PRX Autoloader" from your PS3, when it does you will earn one beep if no error has occurred, if you earn more beep an error has occurred (see log: /dev_hdd/tmp/MAMBA_PRX_Loader.log)

After successful uninstall remove mamba from xmb.

The most of my life I spent like a drunk,I know how is.
Thanks for the help, I was banging my head to remove the Mamba, excuse me for my bad English.

can you make ps2 and ps1 emulation?

PS1 emulation is already supported, I think you mean PS2 and PSP ISO emulation.

If you want PS2 and PSP ISO emulation , install a CFW with support for Cobra (e.g. Rebug 4.76.1 LITE or Rebug 4.75.3 REX).
If you want to keep your current CFW standard, you can convert your ISOs to PSP Minis/Remaster and PS2 Classic.

Even if your request could be possible, the addition of these features are against the original purpose of MAMBA, which is to have a lite version of Cobra that is simple to port to any newer CFW version (due it's reduced number of symbols offsets). Nowadays it's not very hard to find the symbols offsets, but still the chances of errors are bigger in Cobra than in Mamba (it has near 100 symbols offsets, versus ~200 in Cobra).

Isn't better use cobra in that case?
Because im a e3flasher cfw, i just can use non cobra FW's and the only way to get near is this great addon, i just asked if its possible near future

Just install cobra cfw. Remember to remove disc, disconnect internet and unmount game if you have one mounted. That's all my sugestion is rebug cobra 4.76.1 or habib cobra 4.76.
