PS3 ManaGunZ - PS3 Backup Manager by Zar v1.41

If you dont tell the ID then i need to do a google search to try to figure it to check the files and give you a better answer, but im more lazy than you (or/and i have less interest than you) and im not going to do it, so i can only give you a generic answer

Yes, the custom configs from @aldostools web database are more updated than the custom configs included in managunz because aldo has been keeping an eye at the new configs published here in the forum and collecting them, that collection of custom configs is "the good one" right now, and eventually @Zar is going to add the new configs to managunz to "sync" them

I Surprised someone fixed the game, taking in consideration there is no mention of the game on the compatibility thread.

Btw @Zar it seems devina (from the official pcsx2 forum) is about to release a new version of her collection of PS2 widescreen patches, this is copyed from her last 2 posts in the widescreen patches thread, written at date 01-01-2021, 04:55 PM

Ready for the new archive update (half a year's worth of updates), but I'm going to wait until the talented PsxFan releases their Jak patch, since it's a pretty popular game.
I also took a try at that ATV Offroad: All Terrain Vehicles PAL > ATV Offroad Fury NTSC-U patch, but couldn't find the Y-value either.
And few days later... another post from PsxFan publishing the jak patch

This is a fix for the built in widescreen and thus has no more graphical issues.

She was waiting for the jak patch and is already available (since a couple of days ago), so... it seems that collection of widescreen patches is going to be updated soon (in the incoming days) :victorious:

@Zar after some testing, it turns out multiMAN isn't patching the EBOOT.BIN (afaik). I installed multiMAN, and mounted the game, I then compared to the original EBOOT.BIN, and they were identical (according to winmerge).

@CFW-Us3r ty.
I don't think winmerge compare permissions of the file, did you try to "fix permissions" with managunz ?
Or maybe try to change the payload to mount the game ?

Yeah. I tried the fix permissions option, and I can't change the payload because the game is in iso format. It's very strange, but at least there's a solution now :flustered:.

I am truly confused right now. I will do my best to explain.

One solution for sprx menus not loading for me is to use the "Resign EBOOT" option in the file manager. As you'd expect, if I delete the new EBOOT, and replace with the one previous to the resign, the sprx won't load.
Another solution is to simply install multiMAN and open it ONE time only. After this, multiMAN can then be deleted and the sprx will still load.

Based on solution one, you would think multiMAN is doing something to the eboot automatically. However, after deleting the eboot, restarting my PS3 and restoring the original one, the sprx will still load!

Are you sure the eboot.bin is unmodified? You can use IRD with PS3 ISO Rebuilder to check that. It uses MD5 to compare files.

When you restored the eboot did you use multiman or managunz or something else (like ftp) ? Did you mount the game with managunz or multiman or something else (like webman)?

Archive has been updated, there's about 30 new patches, although I'm pretty sure a lot of patches have been modified to fix bugs and such. Thanks everyone.

Someone asked me about Rayman, there should be a patch in the archive for that already.

I will tomorrow, but the MD5 of the eboot alone won't be of much/any use to you.

I've yet to find an ird where a game still didn't work. I haven't tested every game I have (maybe about 50 on the internal hdd only, no external), but they've all worked well. you guys have inspired me to play my ps3 finally tomorrow. I haven't really played it since I got it. I just bought a replacement, so that I wouldn't be banned.
