[MENTION=3657]pinky[/MENTION], that is correct. It's just a one time thing though... and then you could even throw the card away if you wanted to. No real reason to buy it online, if anything it just makes thing more complicated when you try and bring it up to the register. They will probably ask you if you want to buy it, and then you have to explain that you already own it and just need it activated. I wish I had something positive to say about BestBuy's customer service, but over the years they make the same mistakes over and over. I cannot tell you how many times I ask for something in the store, and they tell me they don't have it... only for me to find it less than 15 feet away... so many times !!!

And yeah, just because something is listed at that price on eBay doesn't mean it's going to sell. People are just trying to get the most out of it while they can... so it makes sense that the price is going to be higher now than when it actually releases. Once it releases, there will most likely be more copies being sold, which in turn should drive the prices way down.
 
I might have to go to best buy soon then. though, I buy most games off of ebay, and I don't buy many games aside from for the wii-u. those r digital-only though.

I didn't realize the legacy collection wasn't out yet. I actually own all six carts for the retron 3/5 along with the legacy collection for the ps4. I've beaten all robot bosses in all six games on the legacy collection, but I haven't tried Wily's castles yet. iirc, there's a separate trophy for beating each game. and, there's some sort of challenge mode for another trophy. I'm pretty sure the ps4 version was considerably cheaper than $50 or even $30 at least when I bought it. I thought it was like $15 or so digitally.

ya there is a bowser and then also 2 Dark versions of them as well . :P
but i think its only the Light ones that were released .. walmart did not have the Bowser when i seen Donkey kong i looked for the other :P

my best friend from childhood said something like, "my god, it never ends" once I sent him the latest preorders. I tried playing him in mk8 a few days ago while very drunk while he wasn't. I got my ass handed to me. :p

edit: I honestly think I'm the best gamer with platformers while drunk. I've beaten everything in multiple games under that state. it's what I do after work sometimes.

I got Lucas, six Animal Crossing, and Shovel Knight amiibos in the mail. I need to see what I'm missing.

I'm also currently trying to get 100% in Kirby and the Rainbow Curse. apparently, u have to beat all bosses without taking a hit. I wish they had a hard mode selection like DKC Tropical Freeze, 'cause it's frustrating having to either die by getting hit three more times or exit the stage after taking a hit.
 
I think I'll buy the gamer's card this weekend. it should pay for itself by buying mega man legacy collection for gold mega man and twilight princess for wolf link. I have all of my amiibos in six or seven boxes. I have most or all amiibos currently out.
 
well, I bought the gamer's card. I preordered mega man legacy collection for the gold mega man amiibo, and I saved $10. I also preordered twilight princess for the wolf link amiibo, and I saved $12. I cancelled my preordered amiibos at best buy, and I preordered them again with the gamer's card, and I saved $2.60 per amiibo with free shipping on everything. in one go, the gamer's card has paid for itself. thank u [MENTION=9]tthousand[/MENTION] . :)

just got home with my megaman amiibo as well :P im surprised they went to cheap on the Card for Gold megaman :( thought for sure they would have had a collection stuff on it

thanks. there r too many amiibos, and I can't quite remember which ones I've ordered unless I go through my emails. twilight princess has shipped, so I know I have wolf link.

I wish there was a [MENTION=6]bitsbubba[/MENTION] amiibo with removable mask. :p
 
I got twilight princess with the wolf link amiibo. I don't wanna open it due to the amiibo. I'm assuming it's not in a separate package inside? the game arrived in perfect condition. I must say I've had a lot more luck with best buy shipping than amazon.

it has its own amiibo package. its safe to take out of the box
