What do you mean? To get the latest versions?Maybe I could try saying "yes" to the update popup on application startup. That's a start.

You don't need PSN to update your Apps.
You could use Charles Proxy or similar.
Install on PC.
Modify the PS3 Internet Connection Settings to use your PC proxy.
From there any request from the PS3 will show in Charles on your PC. When you try to update an app, Charles will display the update URL.
Bob is your uncle!
Well.So here is what I could be doing to patch RedbullTV 1.05:
[*] Update app via startup popup
[*] Download the installed app from PS3 via FTP
[*] Patch, make pkg, done
Am I right?
Okay so I will try this method, it's the easiest way. RedbullTV app is very basic. There's not any user side configuration, not even TV resolution detection. It could work, thanks.Well.
I advise people to start with the official pkg.
I have done what you are talking about in the past a couple of times & it worked however it's not a recommended practice at all.
You may experience issues doing this with some apps...
I just checked the wMM source code. Here is what I understand from it.That's a good idea, someone could make a little package, that redirects dev_usb000 to dev_usb001-006. Or it could be added to the list of WebMAN commands, if its not there already.
localhost/remap.ps3/dev_usb000?to=/dev_usbxxx
Yea what sucks about that is my right USB port is toast on my slim. Really wish we could use other ports.

The remap.ps3 web command can already do this, you will need to specify two parameters like this:
This web command uses a function called sys_map_path leveraging the Cobra library in order to remap one drive into another.Code:localhost/remap.ps3/dev_usb000?to=/dev_usbxxx
Obviously, as usual, you could add that to some xml including webman.xml in order to get an easy to use link on XMB.
For those who only need it very occasionally, you could also bookmark the command in your PS3 browser.
Really both Aldo and I have posted quite a few times here how to fix thisAnyway if it doesn't show, check what Aldo said about this in post #3.

aldostools said:Run the PS3 Tools Collection installer as administrator.
In some computer you should disable Data Execution Prevention (DEP).
If the right-click menu doesn't appear, execute ps3tools\tools\registry patches\remove_ps3tools_file_associations.reg and run PKG ContentID.exe as administrator
I already know that... [emoji6] Why are you telling me?Really both Aldo and I have posted quite a few times here how to fix this
If context menu for aldostools' PS3 Tool Collection does not show

Thanks by the way!
Because there are links to our forum with the same info, one being the PS3 Tool Collection thread itself [emoji14]I already know that... [emoji6] Why are you telling me?
The info is the info, the source matters little & especially when the internal search in this forum won't work, pre-May 2016. As a result, I take whatever comes first with Google...Because there are links to our forum with the same info, one being the PS3 Tool Collection thread itself [emoji14]
