Found this updated MLB.TV 2.84 NoPSN app via nextgenupdate that also stripped the ads! Here's a link to the pkg and also directions on how to make the changes yourself:

yea i usual keep an eye on his thread, he's got way more than i ever had. and still trying to get others also!
 
I mirrored all his links if anyone thinks it's appropriate to share them here. Got my Vita No-PSN as well but only has Crackle and Twitch ATM

i like the idea but would make sure i had @STLcardsWS permission as well as his, maybe we can get him to be a member and clone his thread to here.

The 1.25 version seems to be way more optimized. 1.20 pkg is 50 MB and 1.25 is only 20 MB!

I'm ready to update the others apps if needed. @bguerville How do you get the "official" PSN pkg links as you give few post earlier? I planned to do the RedBullTV app soon, do you remember which file is to modify?

Use either ps3 tools collection or TA Pkg Rebuilder from our Resources section.
Extract the pkg, with an editor, open the file: /USRDIR/data/config/spark.cfg.sdat
Modify Line 21 this way (line number may have changed in new version)

Save the file & rebuild the pkg.
