@uday The installer is a self extracting zip made with winrar. You can try right clicking on it and see if you can extract it. Using winrar or 7zip should work to extract it if nothing else works.
 
I hope the PKG 3.0 will fix the issue
Or there should an bug fix update I think

We need to figure out what's causing the problem. On one of the computers I tested on it took a little while for the splash screen to go away and the app to open the first time. I thought it was just a problem with the computer.
We're working on getting a public text build together for 2.1 so we can try to get things like this fixed before the next update. With only three of us testing we missed a few things on 2.0.
I've had a lot going on irl so it's taking a little longer than I was hoping to get it ready.
 
Caus these problems weren't in PKG linker 1.0 check in that what made it 100 work

90% of it was rewritten for 2.0 and we change from using a Winform to using wpf. So it's not really even the same program it just has the same name and has part of the file writer left over.
 
I think if you change it from PKG installer from
directly to PKG linker exe it will work right we just want to install packages right that what I think so

The installer is just a zip with all of the files so it shouldn't change how the app works once everything is extracted.
We've not had any other reports of it freezing on the splash screen. I think that's the big thing we need to get solved. I'm half asleep right now so I'll have to look into it after I get some rest.
 
It took 5 my minutes to load how now it working I don't even know

Yes, about 2-3 minutes, also sometimes when it's transferring the pkg to my ps3, my pc's screen goes black and doesn't respond to anything unless i force shutdown the system.

Another issue, is that it's taking longer to start the server, on pkg linker v1 it was almost instant

pc specs?
That freeze doesnt happen to me

Maybe is because of hdd 100% usage while transfer
