PS3 PKG Linker v1.0: Scan & Serve PKGs to PS3 from PC (CFW & PS3Xploit HAN)

Are you getting the firewall pop up? try disable windows firewall to test.

By the way, if you change the port in the app, you also need to change the port in the server to match. see first post trouble shooting tab.

No, I am not getting the Firewall pop ups as it is completely disabled.
Yeah, I did change the port in httpd.conf, in the app, and even tried to connect via proxy with the PS3 with no luck on 8080. I think that port is disabled on my PC or something, because that one seems to be the default one in XAMP and the one in python and those two server didn't work for me.

Ok, about the images with IPs you posted, you're using PKG Linker with built server? If yes what IP is used by the aplication? same as PC or other?
That configuration will work for any server. But yes, the IP in the app should be the same as PC, best to disable wifi and virtual adaptors or you could be serving on wrong IP.

Direct connection with all other adaptors disabled is best way to test.

well try running the server on any random port, as long as the correct IP and port is in your package_link.xml links (generated by app in bin folder) then it should work when you install the Package_list.pkg to ps3 via USB.

Here is another IP config picture (FOR DIRECT CONNECTION BETWEEN DEVICES ONLY):

Your one was great @junaid but even with that someone got confused because it had too many 1's in it :) I know you did it like that to make it simple but..you just cant win :D Also this shows PS3 IP on PS3 which will probably save some more confusion..lol.
I have gotten it to work now with XAMPP. Not sure why that is working and not the pkg linker but I am not complaining! Thanks for your work

Red dead redemption black screen just after loading "rockstar logo" scene . Any suggestions ?

I don't know anything about coding for Mac. Then we run in to the problem of the other three programs that we use for extracting the icons, making the pkg & signing for HAN. Of course those can all be done without if someone wanted to make a stripped down port. The code for making the xml is pretty simple so I wouldn't think it would be too bad for someone that knows what they are doing.
I posted yesterday on twitter when I was asked that I would be happy to share any info I could to help someone out.

Im wondering where the downloaded file goes after installing , or it just automatically deleted after installing game ?

Im just afraid that it'll be stored in hard drive ps3 and im not knowing it .

So I keep trying to change the port using the provided instructions, but PKG Linker keeps saying it's connect to port 80. I even type in my ip:8000 for example and instead it says it connects to ip:8000:80...any ideas? And yes I edited the config.

It's just a bug in the message box that last :80 doesn't get set.

Oh...okay then well there still seems to be an issue with something else seeing as the cmd window keeps closing for some reason. I'll try to figure this out. Thanks for the info.
