Can you open a CMD window and type ipconfig, see what adaptors are coming up, there is a good chance one of them has that 84.x.x.x. IP , if so , if you can disable that adaptor ,maybe it will detect correct one. Not sure.

As for making your own version from source, for now no, you will have to wait for v2 that has saveable config etc, it will do everything you would like changed and more

We pushed this out quick as so many people were having problems with writing there own xmls, the next version will be a lot better.

If you download the new resigner 2.0 from Habib, and drop the resigner exe and dll into the bin folder that PKG linker creates in your package folder, overwriting what is there, then it should work on 32bit.

Use v2.0 to let the tool decide for you

First i downloaded pkg and installed it even without resigning then resigned pkg i wanted to install and after all i installed it.

or you can change your ip in ipv4 settings

I did try that but I ran into trouble but its cool I got it working now properly I just do it step by step. Slowly.

Guys, re read the thread including trouble shooting tab if you are still having problem, its quite simple, you need working pkgs, you need a server to be reachable from your PS3, and you need correct links in your pkg list xml, after that it wil work.

Read the whole thread again if you cant figure it out, if that does not help you then this is not for you, you are expected to have some networking skills to do this kind of thing, if you don't know how to set up IPs correctly then this will be too complicated for you. try figure out how to split your pkgs instead (in another thread)

Yeah im not really getting it on how to get the wired connection to transfer the internet from my wireless gaming pc that wirelessly gets the connection from a router to my ps3 with the lan cable connected to the pc.Mabe ill try the bridge option later in the advanced settings.Do you have to have pkg linker on with anti virus off in order to transfer the internet connection over? Because every time i do it the internet connection pretty much fails every time in test connection on the ps3.Mabe ill try again later or somthing with dex will come out and ill be able ftp into my ps3 with the internet on.Im sorry but this lan stuff is foreign to me since i mostly use wifi.

You only need internet to enable han, you can just enable han via wifi, then set up cables and install all your pkgs, then , go back to wifi.

no, you can not use both wifi and cable at once on Ps3 (you can on PC), that is why I said enable HAN via wifi first., then switch to direct cables with manual IPs without rebooting ps3, this allows you to get around having to set up local hosting or set up a bridge and internet connection share.

Then install all your pkgs without rebooting ps3, so you don't need to go back to wifi until you are done installing.

I don't get what is so hard to understand...

you have data on pc, you want to get that data to ps3, you are going to do that using one cable. that is it.

But you have to use network settings to do that all in the ps3 settings.If i go and set it up as

Of course it fails, you don't need internet, are you reading what I am saying? you obviously have not even read the first post or you would know your settings are completely wrong. I cant help people who cant read.

Where did I say that? do you not think in all the posts in this thread I would have mentioned if you had to turn off the internet. Just ignore the test!! I don't know why you are even testing the internet in the first place.

if you had ftp it would be no different, the PS3 has really slow wifi, that is it. it does not matter what type of server you are running.

Well you did say this doesnt need internet,so i asumed you dont need the internet on with the ps3 to do this,you only need the internet to turn the han enabler on and thats it.

That's it exactly. No internet required on PC, and only internet required on PS3 to enable HAN, if you dont reboot then you are good to go installing all day.

Ps3=internet from wifi or wirless connection from your router,leave that on.

Computer=doesnt need internet,just the pkg linker turned on and the lan cable connected to both the ps3 and pc
