PS3 PKG Linker v1.0: Scan & Serve PKGs to PS3 from PC (CFW & PS3Xploit HAN)

@Ajay Rawat Try the fix pink posted here. Worked for me.

Thanks, if this works your helping a lot of people.
From the app folder go to bin\ApacheHTTPD_PHP_Portable\Data\conf then open httpd.conf with. Now go to line 52 it should read "Listen 80" change it to "Listen 8080" and save.
next open open PKG Linker and in the ip box after your ip put :8080 (should look something like this 192.168.1.12:8080 ). Now under file click "save list pkg and xml" and start the server.

No, then you just refresh list on ps3 end. It will download and install the new list. Then reboot. :D

Thanks! I'll try it at home later.
Another question: How can I remove previews pkg lists from the xmb? I just need to uninstall the package_list.pkg?

Sorry for asking too much, but I'm really interested in this tool and you guys are doing an awesome job for the scene.

No prob., ask away, I may not always have time to answer but someone will. yes, You can go to game data utility and delete Package Linker Data and then reboot.

no. i use wi-fi connection
You are better off connecting cable directly or at least running wired through router.

  • enter manual IPs on both devices, can be anything but must be in same range
  • so for example fake gateway ip for both = 192.168.0.1, PS3 = 192.168.0.2 and PC = 192.168.0.3
  • make subnet mask the same for all = 255.255.255.0
Then run webserver on the pc, and you should get almost 1GB per minute download speeds, and no errors during download.

Im going to add this here too so more people see it who already read start of thread and wont see my edits to post 3

Some things to note:

If you are having issues, please check your server is working by entering a pkg link from package_link.xml into your PS3 web browser.

Error meanings:
  • 404 error means a server is running on correct IP, but maybe link is bad, file not exist, or win 10 users have to stop a service using port 80, try change port using below instructions.
  • 400 error means server is running, can be a port issue, port used by other app etc. try change port
  • 80029576 Means HAN Enabler not ran, debug installer ran by mistake, or pkg not signed or corrupt.
  • 80710092 Server error, If I shut down my server I get this error.
  • 8071053D Unknown, possibly port problem, connection refused etc
If you want to use another server like XAMPP:
  • Install xampp, run it, click the top start button for apache, (make sure no other webservers are running on same port first)
  • Put packages and pkg linker exe into the c:\xampp\htdocs folder
  • Run pkg linker, say no to using built in webserver.
  • Go to PS3 and run HAN Enabler and then try refresh list
  • If it downloads the new Package_list.pkg then Reboot , run HAN Enabler again and try install a pkg
  • Best if you do this with pkgs that you 100% know work via USB, for testing.
Connection / Download Speeds / Errors during download after it has started

You are better off connecting cable directly or at least running wired through router. Wifi will not work great, if connecting directly you will have no DHCP for giving out IPs, so you will need to do this:

  • enter manual IPs on both devices, can be anything but must be in same range
  • so for example fake gateway ip for both = 192.168.0.1, PS3 = 192.168.0.2 and PC = 192.168.0.3
  • make subnet mask the same for all = 255.255.255.0
Then run webserver on the pc, and you should get almost 1GB per minute download speeds, and no errors during download.

Changing Port in App (might help with some errors)
  • From the app folder go to bin\ApacheHTTPD_PHP_Portable\Data\conf then open httpd.conf with notepad++.
  • Now go to line 52 it should read "Listen 80"
  • change it to "Listen 8080" or some other unused port and save.
  • next open open PKG Linker and in the ip box after your ip put :8080 (should look something like this 192.168.1.12:8080 ).
  • Now under file click "save list pkg and xml" and start the server.
  • you will need to manually install the Package_List.pkg via USB the first time after you make changes like this

thx for all the effort guys! As i haven't used v3.0 so far, can any one tell me is it possible to install rebug toolbox and webman on superslim and other non cfw models at all? I'd love to control the temperature.

Hello, thanks for your hard and good work with this tool! But of course o have some questions

1-What version of resigner is being used? It change all pkg's or it can know what need some modification?
2-The link will just.."show" on XMB or need something more?
3-I know its portable, then i instaled in my external HDD, but in matter of IP and ports, will have some error?

Thank you again to all developers!

1. Its the latest version, but it is only used to resign the Package_List.pkg, it does not touch any others. this option is for CFW users.
2. You need to have HAN Toolbox v0.2 installed, and then for the first run you need to install Package_List.pkg manually from usb, after that you can update the list from the refresh icon
3. It should work from any location unless the path is too long.

this is more than just a "game changer" . Hope the final product release soon :D
Yeah, its cool.

btw, there will be no final product exactly, at least not soon, this is v1.00 of PKG linker and is safe to use, we just had to include a warning cos you never know what can happen, if your hdd break the same day that you install this then you might blame this for example, but anyway both this and HAN Toolbox will probably never be finished, they are evolving WIPs, as there is always new ideas to be added, and tweaks that can be done by someone.

Oh great, i said no when asked thining in my pkg's not the program kkkk

Ok, will install, but i can change the name of PKG's? ( of course BEFORE including them on server )

When you mean path, you mean Directories and folders? Or just names?

Yes you can change the names of packages before scanning with the app, better to use underscores instead of spaces and no symbols like &',% etc. app will remove spaces, but not all symbols.

Yes, I mean path where packages are, with most cmd apps they don't like really long paths like 256 char or more, not sure of exact number. for file names they can be very long, not sure of limit.

DeVil303, Yesterday i succesfully install 16Gb to PS3 with your old method "Easy way to install packages over 4GB via webserver on PC" using XAMPP webserver. So, now i can forget that old method and must use this new HAN Toolbox+Package Linker?
