I really wanted to use miniweb it couldn't do the job tho :( Thanks for the tip tho.

In the update we're adding a config in the bin for the ip, port and other things for now it can't be saved.
We are taking a few days off to get info together before we get started.
 
I tried connecting the PS3 to the PC using a LAN cable, but while the tests show that an IP was found, internet connection could not be. I followed the same tutorial as linked before: I forced a manual IP on both, connected the cable, etc. The message shown when I try to download is that there was an error, since no internet connection was established. I tried the same thing yesterday with Apache on XAMPP, but had the same issues: finds IP, but no connection. What should I do?

Just a heads up, I'm on HAN, nothing else. Model is a Slim.

What error exactly?

Not sure, double check connection settings, that method is working for lots of people. You must have a setting wrong.

I'll try to redo it. By the way, when I was setting up the conection on the PS3, it asked me to put in a DNS server, so I used 8.8.8.8, and left the secondary blank. I also did not use any DNSs on the PC side. Also, should I edit the ethernet or the Wifi on the PC side?

Edit ethernet, and if you still have issues try disable wifi in network connections. the app or server might be picking up that IP. Install the Package_list.pkg manually via usb every time you rescan until you have it working properly.

I don't know what to do. Ethernet on the PC says unidentified network, and the PS3 still does not pick up the connection.
 
could you like to come up with a lot of chains to facilitate with the installation of games, what to come up with, so as not to activate the psn games, just in place of rap on the console. Sorry for the language I'm Russian

you need the gateway the same on both. and don't bother doing a internet/connection test, it wont work.

I'm not sure I understand if your asking if we can make rop chains to bypass needing a rap, I don't think that is going to happen & if it does it won't be by the two of us.
If you are asking if we can make it move your files to the ps3 you may see that in an update.

he should be setting both manually, there is no router to give out an IP, testing it and having it fail can actually make things worse.

Ok, so now you have a server issue, try rescan on pc with wifi disabled and then reinstall package_list.pkg manually via usb


To test if server is working you can put a pkg link from package_link.xml (in bin folder) into your ps3 web browser, that needs to work before this will work

Use these settings. also start pkg linker again after you setup and make sure your server starts and also it says the server is running on 10.1.1.1. also after this, copy the packagelink.pkg to your usb and install it. Also if the server window dissappears, then your portis being used by some other program and you need to change it. here is the server window
