I have been having the same problem mate for 2 days I can't get a good solution I hear that if your PC and PS3 are both hooked to your router via ethernet it works..my problem is I have a fully fledged workstation and a macbook so I am sort of screwed at the moment! :(

All of my connections are good. Everything else that i have connected to WIFI or by Ethernet works 100%
I will try some of the solutions provided, hopefully it will work, Thanks for your reply.
 

80710092 can be anything that stops you connecting
  • Windows firewall
  • other firewall
  • Cable problem
  • Port blocked on server
  • port conflict on server
  • missing dll on system
  • package_list not updated by usb since server settings changed
  • port changed in pkg linker but not changed in server settings
  • port changed in server settings and not changed in pkg linker
  • PS3 not rebooted since new package list loaded on

important things to try after reading trouble shooting tab in first post
  • disable firewalls
  • See if you can access server via ps3 web browser
  • update package list via usb everytime you change settings until it works
  • Try change ports
  • try run other servers
  • Read the entire thread and try other peoples solutions
  • google how to set up a web server and try learn about it.
  • give up and just split your pkgs

it looks very compilcated for me even if i read it still looks very complicated :/ idk why i have the ethernet cable and i linked it from ps3 to pc but now i dont know what to do
 
What can I do about error 80029514/80029515? When I do activate the system to fix the error 80029514, I get the error 80029515. Am I doing something wrong? That's happened to 3 games I've installed so far, and I even got to install 2 others that worked just fine.

This thread is not about fixing games, PKG linker will not fix your games, they need to be working pkgs.

Well first deactivated firewall and antivirus, If you connect by cable (faster download and will not fail), first assign IP to ps3 like Trouble shooting section on this post, then on your pc windows open network and sharing center open the network that connects with your ps3, go to properties and configure ipv4, the ip you put on your pc is the ip the linker will use, run the server, create a new package and install on the ps3.

Also because you're connected by ethernet, verify the ips your using for ps3 and pc are not the same of your wifi network or are in use.

Cable, wifi did't work for some reason, just verify if the ip on the linker is the same your pc is using to connect to wifi (open cmd, and command ipconfig)

help, i have installed the pkg and i can see all the pkg to install but when i click it says that require another software download it? yes and i got error 80711008 ....i'm on wifi internet, why??? the server is running of course, i tried even to reboot the console
