then why are you posting in this thread? this thread is for transferring directly from pc to ps3 using lan and the pkgs don't need to be spitted and installed using an external drive.

the sole purpose of this thread is to combat splitting files as they don't seem to work with ofw.

@junaid @DeViL303 thank you both i now get post in help thread and i realize something is after i create pkg they are debug and after resign them they are retail finalazeed i will see if they work while like that have a blessed day guys

Yes, you should not be using debug pkg installer, just sign your pkgs and use HAN enabler to install them.
 
@Louay idk if you have been living under a rock that you didn't get our message but you don't need to split the pkgs. you can install them without splitting even if they are bigger than 4gb

yes i know and i use the pkg linker method made by devil and pink but just when i go to my friends house or other place i want always to take may pc yo understand me right just splitted pkgs mini external hard drive in my pocket and thats it
 
Ok, in the previous post, I mentioned that I was able to install NFS Hot Pursuit using this method. However, when I launch the game, it gives me a black screen. I can still press the PS button to quit the game, but the game wont get past the black screen. I even installed the NFS HP Update 1.02 on the PS3, but the game wont start.

Can anybody provide any clue so as to what is happening ? All other games have installed correctly and are working fine.

PS : I just installed Far Cry 3 on the PS3 with this method, and it works flawlessly. But, don't get it for your PS3. Th framerate is dogsh!t, the draw distance is f#cking pathetic and the shadows are all f#cked. Get the PC version. Almost all multiplatform games play like dogsh!t on the PS3. What a f#cking turd.

This thread is not for game errors guys, this WILL NOT fix your packages, and does not claim to.

so then just format your hard drive to some other format which supports files bigger than 4 gb and use pkg linker to transfer them into ur friends ps3

Beg, borrow or steal an effin laptop mate. I have a decent laptop and it works just fine. Why go through the unnecessary pain of splitting the damn thing. Isn't HAN method already f#cking headache inducing ?

hh i know that but ps3 supports only FAT32 disks if it read NTFS then all problems will be solved for that reason i mention it
