Jst to add my noob contribution.I observed lots of the pkgs i was trying to download of full ps3 games were corrupted on installation.I realized they werent being signed properly so i always delete the act.dat and idps.hex files in the resigner folder after signing a game and paste new copies when i want to sign another game.Guess it wz a good idea to store copies of these 2 original files somewhere,also i remove the Xxxxxxxxxxxx."pkg signed".pkg before moving it out of the resigner folder to wherever the pkg linker is.Also remove the 2 rap files in the rap folder of the resigner before signing any package.

No other way, and no multiman will not work unless you have CFW.

Hi everyone, I was struggling a lot with Linker along the last few days. I constantly checked your forum and also some other in my native language in order to understand what was wrong with my connection: I couldn't transfer the PKG files both via my router, and with direct cable connection PS3-PC. I was losing hope with the infamous 80710092 error, when I accidentally checked my regedit on Windows 10: there was an autorun feature caused by my sound system that prevented CMD to stay open. So basically, whenever I started apache, there was only one window open and not the "dos" style one. Once fixed the issue by removing that entry in my register, everything magically worked! I do not know if this information can be useful to someone, but I thought it could be important to share it. Cheers!

I have a problem everytime I run the pkg linker my dos window opens but closes right away leaving only the pkg linker window open and I'm unable to download any games from the ps3 so any ideas for me?

Well as I said before, I checked my regedit for any anomalies inside the CMD software. I found an instruction that auto-closed my dos prompt and I deleted it, solving the problem. Here it's 5AM in the morning, if you need more information, I can probably help you during the day by posting the exact procedure.

If you cant solve it, try an other way which is running pkg linker inside the shared folder of another server, like install xampp and run it in the c:\xampp\htdocs\ folder, just put your pkgs and the exe in there. then say no to using built in server at PKG Linker start up

You could try xampp, some people on wifi have had better luck with it I think, not sure if it will go any quicker for you.

My ethernet speed when downloading a game has been stopping every 5 seconds, so it's like 5 seconds full speed(130Mbps) an 5 seconds with 0Kbps.
Is this normal? Is there a way to fix it?

Its not normal, have not heard of that before, try another port, or try another server maybe.

Here I am and sorry for keeping you waiting!
Basically, I opened start menu, wrote regedit and entered inside my windows registry.
Then I looked for HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor AND HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Command Processor...in one of this two "registry entries" (I do not know the common English name, I'm sorry ( ) there was a process labelled as AUTORUN(yaddah-yaddah something). It was caused by my sound mixer (? I know, I simply do not know how this was possible) and I promptly deleted it.
Everything magically worked, especially Apache is staying "open" and I did not encounter any other error in transferring my PKG files to the PS3.
I am using a cable connection through a router, so no wifi or direct connection pc-PS3.

Should you need any other information, please tell me! I am willing to help

I try the xampp and it worked other thing I did is use and old router to make a lan all devices wired installed a couple of 8gb games in 15-20 min so thanks for the advice

thanks a lot for the repply I was using wired connection on all my attempts my issue was the apache closing up I'll try this but I was able to make xampp work, again thanks a lot

Damn,I'm a bit late.What happened was I could not install the toolbox even after doing the specified method but kept trying with fresh HAN support files and got it.

Next I had the Pkg linker problem but thanks to devil 303 xampp did the trick.I used a router and connected PC and ps3.Using pkg linker built in server I got error and said to download software but with xampp worked like a charm.

Again,I can not thank the whole team of devs enough for this blessing.Thank you for the support and service on the forums as well.
