I hate to see this, but I want to add one last thing.
I understand your frustration, but this is the only real option you have moving forward:
It happened, a ban is definitely up there with the worst scenarios you could face when jumping into
the modding scene. It's happen to a good portion of people here at some point, on any form
of exploited console, game, or service. While you have now been cut off from the online portion
of gameplay, the best thing you could do is take it in and understand what's happened:
(at least it wasn't a brick, or critical hardware failure)
When installing CFW, exploiting any particular program or technology, or doing anything that
specifically goes against the Terms of Service & User Agreements you run the risk of being
punished, or cut off from that entity. While you actually own the system, they reserve the right
to deny you any complementary service should you use their product in a way unintended
and unspecified as well. They however do not have the right to take back the game console
or anything that you physically own & paid for.
Now that you have been cut off from PSN, just remember that you still have a perfectly good
working game console, with CFW capabilities.Think of it as a scratch instead of a killing blow.
That's all that can really be done at this point.
I've researched this topic quite a bit, because of my personal paranoia of a possible ban as
well, but the benefits far outweigh the risk for me. Keep your main PSN account as far away
from the exploited console if you value it, keep your console completely offline once you
have exploited it. That is the only surefire way I could think of preventing this scenario.
Now, I understand you've had a bad experience here, but those who have contributed
to this conversation are generally very respectful, it just has to be reciprocal, on both sides.
There is alot of information available here that could help you in the future, and I hope you
see this and decide to take advantage of it.
