PS3 Problem "Trophy"

Hi guys,
I recently noticed that the trophies I install or unlock ingame are all 1 hour ahead
from what can depend

For example, unlock a trophy at 3 P.M but instead in my trophy section results at 4.P.M

Do you know how you can solve it?
Thank you

daylight savings time? I don't think you can rectify this since the trophy database is encrypted. on psdevwiki, tests were run on this file, and the file ended up becoming corrupted.

I have already tried to change daylight saving time, they move 1 hour ahead
For example, from 3 p.m, it passes to 4 p.m
but it does not solve anything, the trophies are always an hour ahead if I unlock a trophy

Any solution?

daylight savings time should do that - "Spring forward." I'm not really sure of a solution. are you syncing the trophies and that's causing the problem? it could be a bug I guess. when did you notice this? I don't really mess with trophies..

Trophy system doesn't use system clock which user can set up. It uses internal clock as I heard. However, it should respect timezones.

I have to clarify that I have never touched with my trophies, maximum when I had rebug I just unlocked a few trophies to see how it works

The time zone is set correctly is also all other things

For now, I'm without a PSN account on all my user profiles

I created another user profile but nothing the problem still persists with him

On reddit I read that maybe it's normal,
Trophies are always one hour ahead of the console time
SONY does not put daylight saving time, so I'm always an hour ahead

someone could kindly try to create a new user profile without PSN and try to unlock some trophy quickly and check the time

Thank you

that doesn't sound right. if that were true, it could be used as a means to exploit the trophy system. I don't have any games on my system or else I'd check. I'm trying to think of what may be the easiest trophy to get. I don't know if it's on the ps3, but there's a 360 game where you get an achievement just by hitting start on the title screen. I guess that means the game is gonna be good? lol I can't recall the game's name though.

something you might try is getting a trophy with a different timezone or time just to see if it's the internal clock being used.

I like to think about how things are done on the 360 to better troubleshoot issues with the ps3. however, I've never bothered to look at the way the 360 does things. it uses gpd files injected into the profile. they're achievement databases where you can unlock content either manually or automatically. in there, you can alter timestamps. you can do something similar with the local database on the vita. however, with the ps3, there seem to be issues manipulating its database. I'm sure you'd find it tedious to do these things manually. the only game I ever platinum'd on the ps3 was jake and daxter 1 (love that game), but I had to reformat my hdd at one point, so all those trophies are gone. plus, it was so long ago that I can't remember if the times were different. iirc, I never bothered to check this. it might be something you just have to live with. :(

well, hopefully, someone on here has one of those games to test. did you ever sync trophies? kinda odd since dst is only observed by America iirc.

edit: btw, when I say change the time, see if it's one hour ahead of the time set.

I tried both "Daylight saving time" and "Summer Time"
With one it increases of 1 hour and with the other it decreases of 1 hour
I'm always 1 hour ahead with both
For example change
the console clock is 3.P.M after having changed it, while if I go in the trophy list it always increases by 1 hour anyway "from 3 passes to 4 P.M"
However you do not need to unlock a trophy, just start any game and install the trophies
Then just check the time from the trophy section
Precise I do not have a PSN account installed

could be a software problem just like the broken download thing with the ps4. with the latter, you actually have to block updates with a proxy or a router just to prevent updates from downloading. one thing I've noticed is that sony sucks at making software but decent at making hardware; microsoft has the opposite problem which is why you still need a hard mod to hack the 360.

not for me it's not a problem if it's 1 hour ahead
I just want to know if it's normal

I have a CFW and I have not been internet for more than 2 years, it does not depend on him

Someone of good heart, could gently check in their console
- Create a new user without a connected PSN account or internet
- Start any game that has trophies
- Wait until you install them
- Exit the game and check the trophies at what time they were installed, if they are an hour ahead then it is normal

It takes just under 5 minutes

Thank you
