Hi,

Please bare with me this is my first time. I've managed to change my PS3 Slim firmware to CFW Rebug. Now I've been able to play PS1 and PSN games, but I cannot seem to load PS2, PSP and PS3 games. I already have webman installed and for PS2 it saying that PS2 Classic Placeholder is not installed, for PSP it says PSP Launcher is not installed (while I tried to load it thru Multiman). I'm very noob on this as it's been awhile since I came back from the CFW scene. I hope someone could help me.

Hi and welcome ;)
What WMM versions do you have? webMAN MOD 1.47.08? For launching games I recommend, just like a colleague above wrote Managunz or simpler core manager, File Manager, is a good connection (WMM + FM for games quickly and simply)or multiman should work normally for you, you have enabled COBRA and WMM in REBUG toolbox? PSP games unfortunately as so far only PSP Launcher may soon or in the future change, running iso without this homebrew, directly from the plugin wmm or from file managers. PS2 Classic Placeholder is already obsolete and is not required to run ISO for COBRA from 4.81 thanks to habib.

For PS1,PS2 and PS3, no conversion its necessary, Multiman takes care of it, it just needs to be ISO format for PS2 and PS3, and BIN/ISO for PS1.

For PSP i used PSP to PS3 conversion method, although the compatibility its low and its a game to game basis, but getting it to ISO or CSO i think works as well ;)

If you transfer into Multiman, and the games still not show on Webman, go to Webman settings, refresh XML and HTML and reboot

Make sure your games are in these respective folders:

PlayStation1 - PSXISO
PlayStation2 - PS2ISO
PlayStation3 - PS3ISO
PlayStation Portable - PSPISO

One more thing! For PlayStation2 you dont need PS2 Classics neither the Placeholder, just go to Rebug Toolbox (assuming you installed), go to Selector, then scrool down to Toggle Cobra Mode and make sure its on, and check in the Toggle PS2 Emulator its set to Cobra ;)

A small CSO correction on the psp launcher does not work, and the service would be useful.

Thanks for the correction mate, i assumed CSOs would work, but i never tried it myself, as i never got any PSP game into the PS3, aside from one time i converted Metal Gear Ac!d into a PKG file to test.

But i think Webman/sMAN has a folder specifically for PSP Games in ISO format, which no conversion is necessary

Yes, the PSP ISO folder used by mm / mm and other managers, iso copying elsewhere makes the game not visible in xmb for wmm.

If you have not already done it, go to Package Manager on XMB & install the Rebug Toolbox. After installation, launch the application from the new Toolbox icon in the game column. Go to the Selector menu & enable Cobra.
Reboot the console.

Now that Cobra is enabled, all ps2 & ps3 games as ISO can be mounted by webMAN-MOD, multiman or Managunz & launched from the disc icon.
No need for ps2 classic placeholder btw.

PSP games however will require you to install a psp launcher first. Then you can mount psp games with webMAN-MOD or multiman & launch them using the psp launcher icon.

And in regards to the PSP Launcher, different versions work with different patterns on different CFWs, some work with the original psp launcher by Cobra and you can play games with iso compatible with ps3, and on other cfw some versions do not mount ISO and include psp lauchera cries about licenses. Then, try another version of Laucher's PSP in case of such a problem.

Hi All,

Thank you for the response, but yes I have installed REBUG Toolbox and have enabled the Toggle PS2 Emulator and set it to Cobra but still it its not working (for PS2) it showing a path of the PS2 Game ISO.BIN.ENC and still showing PS2 Classic Placeholder is not installed. I think I may be doing it wrong. But I have encrypted the PS2 game in the Internal HDD in Multiman. And for the Webman version I don't know what is the version of it since it just enabled thru REBUG Toolbox.

Encrypted PS2 ISO can only be launcehd via PS2 Classic holder, use the raw decrypted PS2 ISO and mount it via multiMAN or webMAN

I've checked and it's webMan 1.45.09. But I managed to update it to the latest version which is 1.47.08.

You forgot to add such a possibility :P

1.Install via Install Package Files

-webMAN MOD 1.47.08(the fastest running of games from xmb;)
-FileManager v.1.33 A simple but convenient file manager with all the most necessary functions (converting iso, etc, you can also mount games)
-PSP Launcher (Cobra) v2.0 other version depending on which will work

PS. This combination is affordable for noob, and quite fast

2.Install via Install Package Files

-ManaGunZ v1.33 (harvester similar to multiman and irishman with plus and minus disadvantages. The ability to create your own encrypted config files for PS2-lottery but you can)
-PSP Launcher (Cobra) v2.0 or other version depending on which will work

I managed to get it working. :) It seems not all PS2 games do not work. Is there any compatibility list for PS2 and PSP?
