PS3 PS3 PRO MOD Release/Information Thread

Just in case anyone comes across this problem. When i installed this mod the webman was in a different language. To correct this i disabled it in rebug toolbox, restarted the ps3 then enabled it back again in rebug toolbox. Then it was all in english. I am currently using Webman MOD 1.47.06

I had a look in settings and couldn't see an option to change the language for webman.

If there was no option why would webMAN contain so many translation files? Believe us there is an option to change language in webMAN

Unless he installed the wMM Lite version using the updater? Iirc it's English only.

Excerpt from the flags.h file for Lite version.

#define ENGLISH_ONLY 1 // uncomment for english only version

If that's the issue, run the wMM updater again but keep pressing the L1 pad button to install Full wMM. The Lite edition gets installed if you press X.

I kept holding L1 whilst updating webman MOD. Anyway it's working now lol. I am liking the way this PS3 4K MOD looks. Good work.

CCAPI is overwriting one of system sprx files (iirc), so if you modify it rco, or sprx itself then.. You know. I'm not saying this is the case here, just giving a hint. Also I did small research, and there are many reports in internet about freezing issues with latest ccapi. Maybe is some incompatibility with other plugins.

CCAPI 2.70rev6 for some reason i had more freezing issues than the newer one (2.80). i find it much more smoother now

I have uninstalled PS3 4K Pro MOD and restored back to a snapshot of previous settings, however the file manager is still there. Also not sure if it's related but i can't seem to get ROM's to load up now in Retroarch. They either just get stuck on a black screen or it crashes or returns me back to XMB screen.

File manager can probably be un-installed by deleting it's game data, after doing this you need to reinstall webMAN MOD as it probably uses the same gamedata

Go to any file manager or FTP delete the XMBPLUS folder

As I said but through the XMB, webMAN also has an xml (or more) in that directory, which is why they would need to reinstall webMAN MOD

My game is asking a updated after the mod.
My Internet is slow
I died in DARK SOULS after the mod
Rockstar banned me after using sprx menu, fu*ck the PRO MOD.
My hdmi cable broke
I toasted my omellete

Thanks i managed to get rid of file manager. Retroarch still has issues with nintendo, super nintendo and genesis, others work though :-/ i might have to try other emulators rather than retroarch to see if it works.

Try reinstalling them

Managed to get Retroarch fully working now. Had to restore ps3 system then re-install retroarch and games. I originally tried re-installing retroarch and that didn't work.

I do not think it was the mod, in his other thread:

I was suggesting it was within retroarch.cfg more then likely.

Anyone with skills in XML Animations? i'm thinking to replace the BUSY CLOCK ICON to the PS4 Busy animation
