Ps3Xploit HAN (v3.0) has been a successful release and the team has continued the progression of the Resigning Tool. Since the release of the et"HAN"ol hack, developer habib has made several updates to the resigning tool, However some users have been having difficulty using conversion tools and finding instructions for them so here is a great tutorial by PSX-Place user's @Sakimotor which cover the conversion of PSX / PS2 / PSP for PS3Xploit HAN, various details about this release can be found in the included notes attached.

  PS3xploit Resigner
  A tool to resign ps2/ps3/psx/psp content for use with PS3Xploit v3.0-HAN 4.82 To resign RIF file you need act.dat, idps.hex and a rap file. output will be signed_act.dat and rif
  PKG files are resigned when converting from debug to HAN style PKG but seperate resigning for .ENC/.EDAT/CONFIG is supported PKG resigning is supported including every PKG type i could find​

  • creates han style pkgs to be installed with han enabler, simply drag and drop
  • also patches pkg content to run apps which require rifs such as ps2 classics

  • installation should take place while on secondary user created for ps3xploit, activated with psn

i've tried new tool. but i'm still not having luck.

do i install game pkg and the rif pkg? or what. What ISO should i try to do first to see if I can get it to work?

Ok. I got midnight club working.

 

If i am trying to resign a PSN title (Persona 5 NPUB31604), do i just need to copy the pkg file into the rifgen-master folder and then drag it onto the executable? Whenever i try installing it i just get a please wait screen followed by an 80710092 error code. Thank you in advance.

Do you have act.dat and idps.hex in the folder?

 

Midnight club worked. But then I quit the game. An playstation rebooted. Tried playing again and it gives error message.

i don't believe i did for my last attempt. Once i dump them i place them into the folders root with the PKG file and then drag it over and let it do it's thing. At that point i move the signed PKG over as well as the renamed act.dat file and it should install?

With the newer tool i just let it do its thing. Then copy pkg file to usb packages folder then install it with debug

Alright so i did a dump and put both the act.dat and idps.hex into the folder. Do i need to rat the bat file at all or just drag the pkg on, send it over with the PKG Linker, run the debug enabler and install?

I just drug the file on exe file

You only need to enable debug if it's a debug package.

I have to reprogram critical functions for x86
Then I have to optimize speed for it

X64 was choosed because it's what majority uses, it's easy to code for, faster speed

 

@habib thank you for the helpful tool PS3xploit resigner v1.3.0 ..... i"ve a question? I previusly installed a pkg using and signing both files, idps.hex and act.dat , so I will test some other pkg but i dont know if i should use presviosly signed files or the originals....
