PS3Xploit Team has unveiled the latest progression in the form of an experimental Tool (Debug Settings Installer + Debug/XMB Swappers) for PS3Xploit v3 HAN user's (tools compatible with CFW also), with the release of REBUG REX that means a 4.82 DEX Firmware is out in the wild and that means with 4.82 DEX files, PS3 HAN user's will not have some added features and was one of the reasons why developer HABIB was suggesting user's stay on 4.81 for use of these DEX features as the status was unknown if a public 4.82 DEX would emerge, but with REBUG REX CFW release, the various files for swapping can be done, but devs will lend more details about that throughout this thread.

  Power Down PS3 With The Power Button

     4.84 HFW: Download Debug Settings Installer ZIP archive
  2. Extract the files
  
  to install DEX files + VSH: use files from INSTALL folder and run debug_settings_installer.html
  
  to install CEX files + VSH: use files from RESTORE folder and run debug_settings_installer.html
  
  Main Installation:
  
  • Place all files matching your FW version and desired target [CEX/DEX] on USB flash drive or select one of the internal HDD options**

I don't know, what is the the point of any research & investigation? Without research there would be no exploit in the first place.

If a couple of features are usable like swapping buttons or using fake save data owner to avoid resigning game saves, I would say it's useful even if it's not useful to you.

I agree, and I wasn't trying to hate on any of you devs. I love what you guys do and how hard you work, I just was frustrated that I kept freezing and it might of came off as hate or something I wasn't trying to say.

So far i noticed theses advantages

Turn ON/OFF Debug settings (The one to install debug packages is that it?)
Use any save without resign
Swap buttons

Something more?

I know this isn't the place for it but do you know how to fix the error with han toolbox v0.4? It's like error 800297 and I got debug packages enabled.

The bit in bold is your issue, who told you to use debug package enabler? Just use HAN enabler...and maybe next time, try both before asking..it would take 5 seconds.

Hello I just want to find Out Because I have In stalled MultiMAN v4.82 With ps3xploit HAn tools. It installed Fine but when I open it , it show this (80010017) error. Do I need to install Debug setting CEX/DEX on ps3 or is it for Juilbreaken ps3 CFW. The reseaon I ask because I even Get this (80010017) error When I install ps3 game Backups I do every Youtube do but stall error. or it wont open. please help me.

That means licence error.multiman won't work on ofw

Warnings do not help. I put several already. The problem is that people do not read anyways.

There is even 2 warnings on actual exploit page with alerts

@esc0rtd3w I read the warning and did everything correctly. I was able to go to dex mode without any problems. But the op said that restoring is "simple". Thats why I installed this on my Ps3. Is it my fault that even after following the instructions, nothing happens? I did every thing correctly. The initialisation part was successful but the installing part took forever (more than 3 hours) but still was not successful. I mean no offence. I respect you and the other developers. Keep up the good work ☺
