    Who knows, even in a future webman is compatible ... if only to take advantage of its features, even so you have done what anyone else. Thank you.

    :rolleyes:

    of course we think so...that has been the end goal since the beginning ;)

    well, originally we wanted to exploit 4.81.....but then Sony thought the PS3 was still a bit unstable!

    an SPRX can be created or modified and ran on CFW.

    OFW is a different story, and only signed SPRX by Sony will run

    not the patched one, but @esc0rtd3w told me that they have control of the vsh memory, so in theory, this should be possible, but you'll have to enable han in order to make use of it which I guess doesn't matter. it's probably not high on the priority list though, but I'm sure it's in there somewhere.

    That's Arch1991, just do not wanted to register here.
    I wanted to say, that maybe using library replacer, IF any elder libraries (for example, from 4.50) appliable on newer firmwares, it is in theory possible to ressurect Cobra ODE and E3 ODE functionality.
    So, some ODE owners which gave up OR were in bad moment to upgrade fw to 4.55, >=4.7X firmwares AND did not unsolder that board from own PS3,
    may spent a good and useful time to investigate which file was all this time responsible for blocking ODE functionality. Am I correct?

    I've got some info according the suppose to bring ODE boards back to work on FW 4.82. Some person spent a time in experiments a long time ago thinking in that direction. I'll share his suppose. He thinks that two dependencies must be checked.
    1. Some CFW creators know that have to be changed in lv2 to resolve anti-ODE protection. There are some 4.6x CFW with that ability. Maybe they can share that info with a hacking scene;
    2. The firmware of BD drive itself must be downgraded. According to psdevwiki, it is possible to achieve that using PCLinux.
    So, maybe it is unacieveable because we can not change anything in lv2 for replacing even using OFW replacement, right?
