PS3 PS3Xport Tool - Inject backups on 4.83/4.84 OFW

Update 1.1 changelog:

• Preexisting EDAT files obtained from the PS3 Backup Utility will now be re-injected automatically
• Fixed an extraction bug that causes files to become corrupt ("deleted" files within the backup will not be extracted to save time and space)
• Added a check to prevent injection of EDAT files that already exist within the backup
• Fixed some issues that could cause the tool to crash

Dear imn7 i have a question that i installed GTA V via han on my ofw 4.82 cech 4xxxa.The game worked fine on 4.82,So i created a backup of the game.Now i updated to 4.83.My hdd got corrupt and i formatted it.After format i restored the backup and whenever i try to play GTA V it says An error occured during the start operation (80010006).Is there any way to make the game run on my 4.83

May i ask why you updated to 4.83 in the first place,since you should be well aware of han only working on 4.82.

The game doesn't work because, once you make a backup with your working injected game, the license injected gets removed. This happened to me too and lmn7 explained what the tool actually does when you inject games and make backups afterwards, here in this post.

hey guys, another doubt came to me regarding the copying of the games. I did the installation of 4 games to test in the backup: that was King of Fighters XIII, Ridge Racer 7, Resident Evil 5 gold Edition, 007 Legends and all the games worked, I decided to do another backup with these games running, and inject more games. This time it was: Watch dogs, Ultra Street Fighter IV, Sonic Generations, Resident Evil Revelations 2, Bayonetta, NFS Shift, NFS Rivals, Duck Tales Remastered, FIFA 19, Pes 2018, Assassin's Creed Rougue, and Limbo. All games worked with the exception of watch dogs that gave problem because the menu of the game was in black screen even after the loading screen of the game (I think it was for the DUPLEX version in which I saw another user reporting that there are problems with these games of this uploader). But the other 4 games I put before, are giving 8001006 error. I wanted to get this doubt, every time I back up the games the first time injected if I am to put more games and restore for the second time, Is this the same mistake? or is there a possibility of making a correction? My ps3 is Cech 3001B with OFW 4.83.

You won't get any help in this forum to inject pirated games such as Duplex releases or any other game under license downloaded freely from the Internet (without owning the license), there is no point in asking.
Our help & support forum assumes that the games our members are using are either retail disc games they physically own or PSN games they bought from the PSN Store.
No help will ever be provided to members asking for support with games under copyright but without licenses which use would be illegal.

I was not aware of 4.83.I did not updated to 4.83.My neighbour friend did it.I went to my Grandma House for 2 days.When i came home My console was updated to 4.83.:frown new:

(The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim Legendary Edition) is not in cfw2ofw compatibility list.Only those games can be injected which are highlighted Green in cfw2ofw compatibility list.Whenever you inject games using CFW2OFW,You must see CFW2OFW Compatibility List.You can find this link at google.

I don't own the legendary edition anymore as I sold it a while back but I have borrowed my friend's copy of the original and I have bought the Hearth Fire DLC just not the Dawnguard and Dragonborn.
 
The original Skyrim which has an ID of BLUS30778 is listed as compatible but not the legendary edition which is strange as its suppose to be the original base plus the patch including the paid DLC included. There must be something different about the legendary edition that the original that separates the 2 copies. Sadly I no longer have access to CFW as the console belongs to my nephew and he likes to watch Netflix and Hulu as well as YouTube.

Maybe the DLC's are the problem. Just today I tried installing Skyrim base game on a Super Slim OFW 4.83 console. It works fine and everything. If you could list the steps of the processes you did do maybe we can see what you've done wrong or at least learn from it.
 
Does this work with previous firmware versions? Say, 4.81 and 4.82? I know we have HAN, anyways I would like to know. This thread is kinda crowded. I scanned through pages but didn't see anything. Thanks for the tool.
