Hi all:
A quick update about webman-mod and psnpatch integration:
aldostools suggested a nice integration in which webman "flags" psnpatch using a common lv2 memory place.
But after some thinking ... what a better flag than ... webman trying to disable syscalls ?
Well ... that's it:
KW made some changes in psnpatch in such a way that when webman-mod disables syscalls, psnpatch intercepts it, restores psn access, do its own stealth3 cfw disabling, and unloads itself from memory !
This way, if your press webman key combos or psnpatch key combos, the result will always be the same: psnpatch will take over and do what needs to be done at cfw disabling level.
In the end, this should work not only for webman-mod, but in fact with any other tool that tries to disable syscalls
There are still many tests to be done, to warranty the stability of this algorithm and a lot of integration tests with other tools.
We shouldn't expect updates from KW before the week end.
Anyway, KW would like to thank:
Rudi Rastelli for giving the great idea to integrate psnpatch with webman-mod.
aldostools for the integration suggestions and the last PM's - These were the ones that focused in the right direction.
