Installation Method
Instructions:
1. Copy the UNITY-TV folder for your Unity app version to CMA's PSAVEDATA/<random numbers>/ folder.
2. Copy the savedata to your PSTV ( You will need to use VitaUpdateBlocker )
3. Make sure you have no notifications and are not downloading anything.
4. Rebuild database in recovery.
5. Using Outlook or Thunderbird, forward the eml to your email account.
6. Find any Vita app or game that has an update available, click update, and then pause the download.
7. Open the Email app and click the attachments one at a time.
It should show an error that says it could not display the image. DO NOT click the ok button.
Instead, press home and close the Email app.
8. Once you have installed both files, reboot your PSTV again.
9. Then, continue the download. The download should now be ~5mb. If not, something went wrong.
10. Once downloading is complete, open the Unity app ( You might need to install PSM+ ) and delete the 0000 "app"
11. You should now only have Vita Defiler Client installed in Unity. Now you can cancel the installation notification.

How to update if you have used this method before:
1. Simply FTP the Application & System folders from this pack to cache0:/VitaDefilerClient/
eg. I have Unity 1.06, so the folders and files I need to replace on my PSTV are in Unity 1.06/UNITY-TV/p/VitaDefilerClient/

Troubleshooting:
-To install PSM+ on your PSTV, use the Device ID your Vita assuming you have a Vita as well. (**Hint Youtube can help with this and will not risk anyone's account or system**)

SMOKE for preparing files & writing instructions

**PLEASE NOTE**
PSM Unity v1.05 for 3.20 and below and PSM Unity v1.06 is for firmware 3.36+. Both are included here in the install zip. The latest EML File Generator 0.3 can be found here at Major Tom's github page. Also one MUST use Codestations (Windows & OSX flavors available) QCMA and since the PSTV lacks USB support one must set the app to 3.10, allow connection without internet, spoof with the latest VitaUpdateBlocker by iAmGhost. Both PSTV/Vita need to be on the same wireless network (yes it can be on a mobile hotspot using Vita Defiler reported here earlier today so a PC or Android is also needed pick your poison) in order for PSTV to see QCMA for EML trick. I use the "pportable" version of Thunderbird with my gamil account to send EML file to write to Vita memory card. This took a lot of work to figure out the right settings so I wanted to share and save you some time/heartache. If choosing Android over a PC you may want to have a look at the link I posted earlier here as all tools and apps needed by either PC or Android are covered between the two articles as well as all the latest up to date native Vita side applications. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I have.

if u have a link to the guide ur using for installing welcome park, I could see if welcome park installs for me. I actually don't have it installed on my pstv.

beware there is a typo in the guide.
step 7 it says MPXS10007 when its supposed to be NPXS10007. It says NPXS10007 later in the same sentence.

I noticed that as well. I don't think u can get welcome park to work on 3.20 at least. I ripped the app.db from my vita to see where exactly welcome park was located after the icon didn't appear. it's located at partition ur: which is the memory card. anyway, the location is correct, but no icon appears to exist at that location for the pstv. did u get the icon to appear? I can force a theme icon to appear in its place, but the original icon, like I mentioned, doesn't appear to exist

Yea mine sparked an empty icon bubble cuasing the database error.
guess the guide is wrong
Working for Firmwares: 3.00 - 3.52

PlayStationTV compatible: Yes
lol might go poking around using vita shell to see if can find it.

the icon itself is a way to access welcome park/pkg installer/etc. similar to adding the install pkg segment to category_game.xml. it's merely a way to make it appear while it still contains restrictions (i.e. npdrm only). there doesn't appear to be a welcome park on the pstv, at least with 3.20. the empty bubble is what it did for me as well.

btw, I just tried vita shell out for the first time just a moment ago:

244uo04.jpg

don't think u can access that portion of the memory card. it's a good way to switch homebrew apps since once u quit one ur forced back to vita shell. :p btw, welcome park is part of the vita software by default, so I'm thinking something's going on with 3.20 itself since there is no 3.20 for the vita. sony may have thought y bother. later firmware may work though since both pstv and vita use the same firmware afaik. atreyu187 may have experience with welcome park on the pstv, so he may know better about that app. he has a few pstvs on various firmware, so he could test that out if he hasn't already.

I think it works but the memory card has to be removed to install so you can use the PSTV internal 1gb memory. Then just put your card back in if I can recall correctly. There is also something else that has to be done but can't recall. Look into the installation of PS3 Remote Play. There is a few files that you need to dump and add to the app_tbl using SQL Browser.

afaik, the app_tbl files only amend the various tables. u can do so manually as well, but it's easier with the files. u could, for example, create a csv file for whitelist v2, so u didn't have to add in the strings manually. also, it would be odd if it worked only with the internal memory card, because both memory cards, internal and normal, can't work in concert unfortunately, so u'd probably get a blank icon again after reinserting the memory card.

thats what i was thinking. although pkg manager can be accessed without having to go to internal. Weird u cant have things on both. but what do i know. im new to vita scene. last time i messed with a vita had to restore a friend of mine. that was back in the days of no audio psx emus.

and damn these bubbles. Had to move just about everything off and do 18 bubble then the rest and now find out after rebuilding app.db some of them redirect improperly to wrong iso or game. but the info and stuff correct in the bubble folder

oh yea think u can still get new pstvs with 3.20 from amazon. i got the ds3 bundle and it came with 3.20. bought this last week as didnt feel like buying another psp and hacking it. only thing that sux is the loss of ps4 remoteplay which is one of reasons i wanted it lol

bubble blower can only read like 10-12 games at one time. if u have more than that, u'll get a black screen usually, followed by an error. I have over 70 which I had to do in several passes. all work afaik. I've not had one not load anyway. did bubble blower overwrite an older bubble somehow? the icon itself should be in the pboot of each game. each icon is the game that it's supposed to be or not?

ur: should be a common location whether internal or otherwise, so y it would work without the normal memory card - no idea. it doesn't make sense, because the system will ask if u want the content from internal memory to be placed on the normal memory card since it can't read both at once. might wanna check that out. though, welcome park is kinda useless anyway if it doesn't work on 3.20.

The internal memory is still used while a memory card is inserted. The end user just has no access to it but the Vita does.

sounds like u've done every hack. now, to get ur bubbles sorted... btw, u've done themes, correct?

Just about every hack. did make a bubble for onemenu v2. have to reinstall my modified tn-x folder. and havent done a custom theme yet. Might transfer a couple from the ps3 till i figure out what theme i want and wether i want to do a temp replacement or make the theme permanent

themes rn't hard. I've done two of the three methods based on my firmware. with ur pstv being on 3.20, u'll have to replace the main icons, so there's only one method available to u. 3.30+ grants u access to the other two.

ah well thats good to know once i get my bubble solved and pstv is in a postion to where i would only have to transfer games no editing app.db /etc will move on to my 3ds which has been ignored. Left it at 4.5.10 with ninjahax. got the game for like 15 bucks when ever where else was like 50+ last year. the 3ds scene has gone way above what i thought was possible. As i stopped paying attention before gateway was released

I'm using gateway myself. u can update to 9.2. if u updated above that, u'll have to downgrade. however, I think downgrading only works between 10.3 to 9.2. Nintendo has started blocking everything from that point. once u install menuhax, u can toss that game. it will boot into cfw or gateway emunand easily.

TN-X will not launch if Bubble Blower save exisit. FYI so when you do it and it won't boot that is why. It will lock up when selecting a game. This is why Hackinformer released the other builds of TN-X but they don't have DS3/4 support.

Also if you used TN-X first it can cause Bubble Blower to malfunction. You have to choose one or the other. Had a long talk to hackinformer about this.

I noticed they both use the tnv save folder. Easy way to get them to coexist. Edit h.bin to change folder it looks for to tnx. This way can boot tnx and tnv same time.
And the bubbles were malfunctioning before I transferred tnx back. Downloaded Tekken 2 back after I made my bubbles. So shouldn't affect it if already made.
Going to have to delete the tnx save though agn as have to remake a bunch of bubbles. Keep redirecting to psp isos.

Going to try making all psp ISO bubbles first. Set up the bubbles. Delete the isos agn. Load up hombrew and psx eboots up to 18. Make the bubbles and make sure they are working. Transfers my isos back agn. Make sure those bubbles are still working. Transfer tnx edited folder back. Then test bubbles agn. Long process. Wish bubble blower supported more files. As psp stuff downloaded. From ps3 counts for the 18.
Using piyotama for original tnv replacement so don't have to worry about blank white list file and talkman for, bubbles cause of,size

u don't need to delete the isos due to bubble blower's game restriction. u can just rename the folder that they're in. that's what I did. I renamed the folder, then dropped about five games/apps into the iso/game folder to bubble blow. as u know, I have a little over 7- games/apps altogether, so it took some time. 18 shouldn't take long. I'm not sure what the limit is for games and bubble blower, but I might try 10 at a time if possible.

Thats a better method but still having bugs zzz. every bubble past page 3 redirects wrong.. REdirects to two differnt psp isos
doesnt help that the first page and half has all non delete able bubbles and i have no idea why. All the files are made properly and it doesnt matter which is bubbles are where and of what homebrew/psx game it still doesnt work.
Might have to just limit the bubbles to psp isos/ pspfiler/vitaftp/one menv2

And yea bubble blower can list maximum of 18 entries from iso/homebrew/emu etc

want add bubbles for 5 psp isos. / 5 emulators/ 3 utility homebrew/ 7 psx eboots/ one menu v2
5 in iso folder/16 in game folder not including teh 2 games for tnv and talkman
