PS4 [Research]PS2 emulator configuration on PS4

Checking back on that Onimusha 2 enigma...does the .iso's internal file structure have any effect on successful emulation/playability?

What would you suggest?
--fpu-accurate-range=0x100008,0x400000 still produces a freeze at the logo-albeit at a snail pace.
Does the internal file structure of the game .iso play any part in this at all?

"Multi disc games are handled by file disc-swap-cli.conf" ....what goes in this file? Where should the file be located??
I am already aware that one needs to specify max disc number on emu config.

Not needed for most multi disc pkgs. Just set max number of discs and that's it. "disc-swap-cli.conf" is for games that need the swap without resetting the system/emu....not clear on what actually goes in this file though

Thanks Stayhye!
I am trying to get Onimusha 4 2-Disc game to work as a PS4 .pkg
-Do I make a package with the two game .isos in the image folder as disc01.iso and disc02.iso OR as two separate .pkg files (after all the two discs have two separate SLUS- numbers]
-I've made separate .pkg files of both discs; I've played a little of disc 01 and out of curiosity tried to play disc 02....after booting up normally there's a message on the screen to insert disc01. How would I play a PS4 .pkg in such a situation?

ISOs in image folder named disc01.iso, disc02.iso
--ps2-title-id=SLUS-xxxxx (doesn't matter unless you have patches in patches folder)
--max-disc-num=2
Build pkg.
Swap discs by holding PS button, switch disc option will appear.

BTW all discs in pkg share the memory cards, so save files carry over through discs.

Ah finally, some clear information!! Much obliged, many thanks! Will certainly put this to practice.
One question though; in the emu config, do I need to specify any of the following?
"--image
--image-disc1
--image-disc2
--image-disc3
--image-disc4
--image-disc5"

No. I've never had to, although I've always wondered on the proper usage of "--image-discX"

Thanks to Stayhye's advice, Onimusha 4 seems to be on the right path..PS button disc change works.
I am enabling mipmaps, edgesmooth and 16:9 now to see how they go.
Onimusha 2 is the dark horse - no luck so far with that one. I have looked into the file structure of the isos that work as .pkg files on the PS4 and they have the same layout. (a folder called "image" and a couple of other files at the root of the .iso) Onimusha 2 belong to the other type of .isos (many folders at the root of the .iso with the other two files and no single folder called "image") The thing I want to know is whether there exist a default file structure inside PS2 .isos and if these troublesome .isos that don't play could be re-configured in the playable fashion.....

Hey Kozarovv, any chance of getting Onimusha 2 going? Any suggestions are welcome!!
I got Onimusha 4 .pkg going and am currently playing it; only issue is game stage signs, found documents, etc (static and scrollable images) are corrupted...so one cannot actually see when one opens up a scroll or diary or a journal.........any advice/tweaks?

New api add new lua calls. Every eboot is different and support highest curently available api. Otherwise it error with: "Script API(%5.2f) request is higher than emulator API(%5.2f). Please update emulator."

Here is what happen if you use known function with lower api, while emu have higher api available: "lua script attempted to call a future-version function '%s'\nPlease specify apiRequest(%03.2f) or higher to support this function!"

"Every eboot is different and support highest curently available api."

So, that being said, some games will work with one eboot(say the one from Bully) and not with others(like the one from rogue galaxy)?
Then a dump of as many official PS2 PS4 classics will help more than trying to fix with an eboot that may never work no matter what. Am I getting the right idea?
