Some more testing today, and some *very* surprising results too! Both
Zone of the Enders games work and - seemingly - work great too. They look fantastic at 2x2 (almost PCSX2 quality tbh), have perfect performance, and no glitches that I can notice. I did get one EE fault crash with ZoE2 but restarting the game I haven't been able to replicate it so *shrug* Who knows? Save often?
Anyway, updating the Wiki with more results.
~edit~
Okay, today has been a fun day!
Fatal Frame [SLUS20388]
Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus [SLUS21419]
The King of Fighters 2006 [SLUS21365]
The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact [SLES52898]
The King of Fighters: Maximum Impact 2 [SLES52255]
The King of Fighters: Orochi Saga [SLUS21554]
The King of Fighters Neo Wave [SLES53999]
The King of Fighters XI [SLUS21687]
Shadow Tower: Abyss [SLPS25217]
Shining Force Neo [SLUS21206]
Zone of the Enders [SLES50111]
Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner [SLES51113]
As mentioned,
ZoE2 did have an EE crash though it only happened once so I'm hesitant to say "it has issues", thankfully you can save at almost any time, so definitely use it. Just in case.
Fatal Frame crashes with an EE fault immediately upon picking up the first roll of film.
FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus, as noted on the Wiki, has some framerate drops - which result in scratchy audio - not all the time, but enough to put me off playing. I may retest with 2x2 up-render disabled. (update: tested with up-render none and performance was identical, same frame drops in the same places, only now it looks ugly as sin)
KoF: Orochi Saga also needs 2x2 up-render set to "None" due to black boxes/sprite glitches, the sort of thing that happens in a lot of 2D games and internal-res upscaling. None of the other KoF titles are affected

Sadly
King of Fighters XI crashes almost immediately following some very corrupted FMVs.
