I haven't gotten far due to 60+ hour work weeks, but I've made a little progress. I have BLUS30810 v01.00 av01.02 for Silent Hill 2, and these are for the decrypted sh2game.ppu.self file:

Just finished with Silent Hill 2, edited the above post to add everything.

Do you know how to add these codes to BruteForce SaveGame in order to make it work with the savegame instead of the .self or eboot files? It would be easier!

I have noticed that the standard cheat codes in the bruteforce save game 4.7.4 aren't working both for SH2 and SH3 HD Collection.
 
I don't think there is much of anything there that could be converted to a save editor code. You might be able to take Hiei-YYH's health or invincibility codes to set your actual health, and then possibly find those values in the save data. You might be able to take the item related codes to give yourself whatever items you want, along with the amounts. You might also be able to set a thing to make Maria present or not. I don't foresee any of the other codes leading anywhere for save data.

Thanks. I did dowload your save repo for Artemis but it didn't work for my Silent Hill. I have the updated BLES version. I tried copying your code from another version of the game and creating a new .ncl file with the same code, but the game freezes as soon as I start playing, enter / exit a room, and some times instantly freeze. May it be that each version has its own code instructions?
 
It might require porting. Different regions and updates randomly have differences in the eboot files, and that moves things around. You could try the "AoB" codes for increased chances of compatibility, but my subroutine codes likely use absolute branches and would require manual porting on your end.
 
hi, im having trouble. i get to step 2 and try to set it up in the horizon app but it keeps saying invalid signature. and it needs to be a proper xbox360 file. i followed the steps correctly but it gets me here. any help?

I was checking, and Apollo (and Bruteforce Savedata) already have save-game cheats for Silent Hill 2. Maybe the editor has some additional features, but I assume that for general cheats it should be enough.

If you can run homebrew, just open your SH2 save with Apollo save tool on your PS3. If not, just try the cheats in BSD on your computer.

Hi. I just followed the tutorial to try it and worked for me; the file opened and I was able to follow up the tutorial beyond step 2. Did you downloaded horizon from the same source? The one i am working with right now is 2.9.0.0.

If you have an antivirus, be sure it isn't messing with Horizon nor the dummy 360 file provided.

Hi Bucanero. Thanks for Apollo development, its a great APP. I haven't tried the latest one, but does it includes an auto backup creator? I used to manually create backups before using Apollo, but like 5 months ago i was lazy enough to do it and scrub my RE6 save which used to have hundreds of hours of gameplay, missions cleared in S and a lot of grinding :'( :'( :'( :'(

Don't get me wrong, the APP its fine, but in case it doesn't include it yet, an auto save backup could be very handy in the future!

Also, the problem with SH2 HD Edition is that you have to own certain version of the game for the saves mod to work (both Apollo and BSD). I used to have the BLES updated version and find not a single cheat to work.

There might happen also that you just want to mod a certain thing in the game without messing with anything else, and that's were this Save MOD editor is superior to the generic saves editor.
