By the way, some users talked about problems when mounting folder games (black screen), there are no such problems with iso. I believe this is a related issue.

Iso offers better compatibility, JB folder format has always been problematic for a handful of games iirc.
If users have issues mounting JB games with HEN but the same games mount ok on Cobra or older HEN, then it is an issue worth investigating.

As soon as the user launched the game using multiman, webman also began to launch jb games

Oh yeah, there are several jb folder games like that, they run on CFW but don't run on HEN. On HEN, you have to install the game update to run. For example the game "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain"

MGS5 has always been a problematic title actually, even on CFW iirc.

JB folder is a legacy format, nobody should use it anymore unless absolutely necessary when iso just won't do (ie noBD, game modding..).

IRISMAN uses skye payload for mappings and other memory patches. Cobra payload was supported later. Both used syscall 8. I moved skye to syscall 38 to avoid conflicts with Cobra.

If I recall correctly, IRISMAN cleans the mappings in Cobra when it starts like multiMAN. There shouldn't be conflicts with the mapping order.

IRISMAN mount functions haven't been updated in ages. Maybe the issue that you're facing have been there for a long time. I recommend to compare the behavior with Cobra or Mamba. I test mainly with these payloads.

But i might as well ask here which i should have done in the first place.

I'm having a problem with enabling HEN.. it says failed rebooting and works after maybe 20 times.. When it is enabled everything works fine, but when I'm planning to use the PS3 i have to start 30 minutes early since HEn is so slow to activate.. any ideas on why this is? I'm using firmware 8.87 atm, i had 8.86 before with the same issue.

Already done.. And synced time with internet. same issue. And i have no usbs connected to my ps3 either. I've watched a LOT of youtube videos and reddit posts and tried everything i can think of.

Most of the time HEN activates faster when using this link: https://www.ps3xploit.me/hen/installer/index.html

When using the link HEN get's enabled maybe on the 10th try instead of 30 tries.

Edit: The only thing i haven't tried is to install an older version of HEN. But i cant find any tutorial on how to downgrade.

Install with HFW 4.9.01 on my 40007 model, then use PS3 browser to install HEN on line. Selected HEN installer (Alternate) , and it look like every thing is fine. After reboot PS3, the icon "Hen Enable" is in "GAME column", but "Install package" is NOT appear in "GAME column". I try to re-install HEN online again , but "Install package" is still NOT appear.

BTW, this is the fist time I try to use HFW, before this , my PS3 is only use SONY official FW, doesthis menas "clean install" ? Or should I try to format HDD and re-start install HFW + HEN ?

You know that you have to start HEN after every reboot? After clicking on the HEN icon HEN will start and the install package icon will appear.

[mention]LuanTeles [/mention] Thanks for the advices. It was set to current date and time. I am wondering how this could caused the HEN initialisation to not start. Pls share. TQ. How to workaround resolve it?

i updated the alternate installer last night for 3.2.2. there could be a problem with it.

let me know if you get it working or not, please.
