Hello good mornig for everyone. A couple of days ago my console's hard drive just died so I bought a new drive (a solid state drive) and I'm having a lot of problems using the console. I already downloaded version 4.90.1 of HFW and I have HEN installed on my PS3 but when opening applications like MultiMAN or IrisMAN, or even when I want to open my games in JB Folder or ISO format, the screen stays black and completely frozen without give no answer.
Is there anyone here who has had the same problem or can give me a solution? In case it is useful, the solid state drive that I put in is a 480GB Kingston A400

oh, and to add. Yes, I can safely run and play the games in pkg format, but that's not the case. It's not normal for the PS3 to be working like this, since the vast majority of my games used to be in JB Folder format and I had no problem running them and play quietly

Hey guys, new to the homebrewing. I decided that I wanted to homebrew my ps3 super slim. I watched Mr.Mario's tutorial on how to do it. I got all the firmware loaded no problem, did both the system update way and the safe mode load. Now the part I can not for the the life of me to get work is downloading the HEN. I know that it works best with everything deleted on the browser and that the https has to be modified to just http. I can get to the main site but when I click on the auto installer it fails to load, the normal install does the same as the auto and the alternative doesn't load when I click the link. I've tried adding a bookmark of the link with the starting as http and even tried making my home page to try and force it but sadly it was no good. Any advice to get this figured out before I reset everything and start from scratch?

Set the auto hen installer page to your home page and reload browser. It should work straight away.

I now upgraded to SSD aswell, and HEN is not installed, reinstalled HFW 4.90.1 about 4 times inbetween installation-attempts from the webpage, went to the page, and tried it about 400 (!) times, different users, with or without USB having the boot_plugins.txt, Timesettings checked, javascript=on check. Alternate HEN is not showing up (blanc page with padlock symbol as previously posted). Is there perhaps some other way to install HEN? (White CECH-3004B)

Dear esc0rtd3w, thank you for all your work. I have installed HEN to my ps3 super slim CECH-4000B HFW 4.90.1, i tried with auto and installer/enabler but uncessful more than 10 times. Then it is able to intall by Alternate way. But i got problem that when i try to Enable HEN but it just load browser for few seconds with HEN logo in the middle of screen and nothing happen. The 3 notification pop-ups on top left and Package Manager and won't show up. I tried reinstall HFW 4.90.1 and HEN several times but it doesn't work. Please help

You know that you have to start HEN after every reboot? After clicking on the HEN icon HEN will start and the install package icon will appear.

Yes, after reboot, I clicked the HEN icon, but install package manager is still not found. Is there anything else I should do, or this is a bug on HEN and only on my device?

Keep trying, now when HEN fails it no longer restarts the system but closes the web browser so you can try again, sometimes it happens here, restarting the system is the best alternative.

Also, try changing the system language to English, in the past when I set mine to Japanese, Chinese or Korean, hen didn't work, if it still doesn't work, disable the internet connection.

Have you forgotten about the problem with app_home? Or does the solution lead to other problems?
We haven't forgotten.
We do have a test build for you guys, I just need to adjust the feature log output so we can get the most useful pieces of information from submitted logs should you find issues with the test build changes, I haven't had any time for that this past week, I will try getting it done at the weekend then esc0 will post the test build.
