PS3 Trapped in Factory / Service Mode

Hello good afternoon,

I apologize if this post is not related to the topic, it has been a long time since I have entered here and I have had horrors trying to guide the page.

This problem comes from a long time ago, but I could not find a solution before, nor could I ask (how do I do it now) due to the little time I had to continue dedicating time to the PS3.

As you can see, I was a mess and entered this mode by mistake. Not only that I entered by mistake, the problem comes when I try to leave.

In this photo you can see that it asks me for an update equal to or less than 2.70, the problem is that I do not see this possible and also the hacking or something like that has been removed, since I cannot access to install .pkg files...

If someone could clarify what is happening and / or help me how to get out of this mode, I would appreciate it too much, since I do not want to have this mode, since it is very annoying to me.

you need the exit lv2diag.self . there's one for entering; one for exiting. I think if you put the update on a flash drive with that file it will take you out of fsm. I'm not sure where to get it though. it might be on psdevwiki somewhere.

Do NOT update FW whatever you do.

Just go into Custom Firmware tools and toggle FSM again. If you update the FW you will be stuck in FSM forever and the console will be useless.

Really, thank you very much, right now I cannot describe the shame I feel when I finish doing it for how simple and easy it was. Thank you very much really!

No worries. I'm just glad you didn't manage to install FW. That would've been bad.

Okay, anyway I waited for the odd answer in case there were different answers to the topic. I also have another problem added, previously but that I suppose I will have to do another post. or can I ask you around here quickly?

Ask away, its your thread.

Well, it is about a spoof that I did with version 4.84 and changed it to 9.99 (I don't know why that nonsense occurred to me in the past) and now I have reinstalled SenEnabler (version is 6.2.1) for a see if I am able to remove the spoof and thus have everything normal to be able to install version 4.85 again. But I can't undo the spoof for some reason.

As far as I know there is no solution, even if you have a backup dump and a hardware flasher it's not fixable.

Maybe with this new syscon reversing there will be some hope for those consoles in future, not sure.

Off topic question, but is possible to Downgrade to 2.40 or 2.70 but in FSM, i wanted to play with the PS2SoftEmu for a while now, i am saying because is easier to get in FSM without a dongle on current CFWs, but i presume for downgrading you'll need a Hardware Flasher. [emoji848]

Is there any way to get it out of factory service mode on ps4

OMG, I do all the wrong steps, why this important tip has not been set to the top topic~
I updated the FW in the FSM, so I got a RSOD!!
And I even formatted the HDD at the PC, So My PS3 can not boot and no signal out,
just 7-8 seconds green light and turns to a solid red light now...
and it can not goes to revcorey mode, after two beeps then it turns to solid red light ...
Help me...my god

It has been said many times, you should have done your research properly "DO NOT INSTALL ANY FW WHILE IN FSM", now the damage is done, there is no way to reverse your careless mistake, you certainly didn't do your homework before you pulled the trigger, but take this as a lesson for future reference.

Its well mentioned multiple times in the "thread", specialy at the start by @DeViL303 "Do NOT update FW whatever you do", 3rd thread post, which you didn't look carefully into it.
