@Sakimotor I notice couple of mistakes on your tut.

1.eboot.pbp don't need resigning instead the edats do but I'll come to that later
2.ps2 games must not be resigned manually because CONFIG files might need resigning themselves too
3.everything is resigned by itself when you drop in the pkg to my tool and this is the only way it should be resigned since there are some edats which might be left otherwise. e.g Ps3 psn npdrm titles
4.unless you resign with my tool you will ALWAYS get error when installing custom pkgs without debug enabler

Well I corrected the resigning issue in the PS2 section. Didn't to that for psx eboot tho

@Sakimotor , nice guide man, very usefull.
About the ps2 classics, I installed "Castlevania curse of darkness", using your guide. Unfortunely, the game got a visual bug after you go to the first loading screen(It boots). Any ideas on how to solve this?
I testes the psp method too, FFVII crisis core(psp) and age of zombie (minis) worked fine. I can't get FF dissidia 012 run properly, should i try i different iso? Already tried PKG from ***PlayStation Store*** and a random iso online.

Can you help me? I followed the instruccion step by step and I got "Please, wait" meanwhile I Install a PSP.PKG from USB. Enabling Debug PKG I get the 80029567 error

First of all, no need to enable debug PKG.
Let's see, for that work you should:
1 - CONVERT ISO to PKG using psp2ps3
2- sign using ps3resigner from habib (when the program asks, you type "yes" for marking psp flag).
3- put on the root of usb.
4- on the ps3, enable han and then, install pkg from the usb ( there only please wait will appear)
5-after "please wait" disappear, the pkg will be transfered o PKG manager> psn content.
6-Then, just install and see if the game works.

@Sakimotor Need some help getting the RAP file for PS2Placeholder R3 pkg.... I am willing to test a uLaunch iso (Homebrew of PS2 allowing a file manager)... Please just need that file I don't know where to get it or download it

I was wondering if someone also was interested for that game (Castlevania CoD) jajaja
To run this game (and some others) properly the emulator needs to use a custom CONFIG file (kinda patching them), similar to that used by official ps2 classics, but it seems the emulator totally ignores the file when is packed within the game, and not only custom CONFIG files but also the official ones.
I installed the custom packaged pkg of the game (with the file, using the folder structure founded by @kingcrabby ), but it doesn't work.
In some spanish forum found some reference of files and folders structure inside ps2 classics pkg`s:

The CONFIG file resides besides ISO.BIN.EDAT and ISO.BIN.ENC, PS2 classics GUI has a similar folder structure that is copied when building the pkg, but it seems to ignore additional files, building a pkg manually could work, not sure how tough.

PD: BTW, the game booted and all, the menus and the cinematics worked flawlessly, the problem is the F.....G SPS (spiky polygon syndrome).
Also i got to make a custom pkg using the shell integrated "make PKG", there is no difference with ps2 classics gui ones. @habib, you got any idea of how getting the emulator to work with CONFIG files?

Hi! I have a problem when i'm trying install a psx game from the ***PlayStation Store***.
I downloaded the Spyro 3 with his .rap, when i'm trying installing in my console,
Nothing happens, it gets caught in "please wait" until it comes out and I see that nothing is installed

I managed to install Ar tonelico but I got stuck on a black screen and also saw that I need the config file but I have no idea how to do use it to make it work.

Well, when the "please wait" disappear, the pkg will be at PKG manager> psn content.
From there, it will install.

One of my favorites on ps2 hahahaha.
Also, i want to run Final fantasy XII on that, but too lazy to try right now.
