I have a few questions if you don't mind:

1. Do the ps2 games we want have to be of the same region as our console or can i have a USA version of a game on my European console?
2. Do ps2 games (where I'm using the ps2 iso for the pkg not a psn re-release) have a rap file too?

Ok thanks, im gonna try again to install them, i have to use the pkg linker method because p3 fes is too big for a FAT32 usb but whenever it reaches about 10% an error occurs.

You'll have to re-do a PS2 PKG Since the encryption step, then resign & install it. PS2 Placeholder reinstall isn't necessary

Having problem with TrueAncestor PKG (PS1 eboot to ps3)


First, the guide doesn't say you have do download this tool until you reach that part :lol:

second, it says to put the title ID on the cmd command, but in what format? I'm testing with DOA1 (PS1) and its Title id is "SLUS-00606"

Should I use this on the command line: make_npdata -e ISO.BIN.DAT ISO.BIN.EDAT 1 1 1 0 16 3 00 UP9000-SLUS00606_00-0000000000000001 5?

Also, when I transfer the SLUS00606 to the TrueAncestor folder it doesn't recognize it.

Lol, i was also looking for FF XII, i never got to finish it , and i found out that there is a improved version that was only released in japan, Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System, and the good thing is that exists an english patch for it, not the config file type, but a mix between the usa release. But you have to do some extra steps before signing it, all is well detailed on this guide, and here you have the files that cannot be downloaded from the post. Also you can use thisxmb icons if you want.

You sign the pkg?
Are you enbling Han before trying to install?

If, the game u r looking is on the psn, u can easily download it without the need to do any kind of conversion.
Juts download the pkg, sign it, and install.

edit: and use the rif file!
