PS3 HAN [TUTORIAL] Convert PSX/PS2/PSP Games for PS3Xploit 3.0 HAN

I've been struggling for a few days, I'm trying to play PS2 game Guitar Hero: Metallica. I did everything as told in tutorial, but when I try to open the game the screen gets black, ps3 restarts and then the message appears with error 80028f17.
I do have PS3 superslim with ps3exploit. Has any one had this problem before?

GH:M is DVD9, use PS2Classics GUI 2.2.2 or newer.

PS. Not sure is playable using controller. PS2. Guitar not work on PS3 with HAN for ps2 games.

Hey dude, can you tell me how you installed codebreaker into a ps2 game on Han? I'm trying to fix a bug in Tales of the Abyss by using codebreaker but I don't know how to. I'd appreciate it if you could tell me how you managed to do it, thanks. Btw, I'm also using Han on OFW ps3.

Hey guys new to the forum. I got HAN working on my PS3 slim 3000 and its awesome though I really cant wait for it to get more advanced. Id love a ftp program or for package linker to be able to access my PS3 so I can just transfer stuff over that way. Maybe even back up my game disc. I can use my old Phat PS3 that has a weird ylod issue.... I can get it working right but I have to turn it on and off about 30 times and eventually it fires up. Thing overheats like crazy the CPU gets to 80 83 degrees C in no time at all despite me applying new MX4 thermal compound. A very good choice as its non conductive. Yeah all we really need now is a file manager. For some reason I cannot transfer any PS1 to PS3 game with package linker, it just doesnt show in the library. Could be it doesnt have a content ID or something and trying to use PS3tools content ID tool just closes thanks to windows 10. But then I can just transfer them with USB. I cannot wait till you guys get backups working over USB. But the main question is this...

When I convert one of my PS1 games Command and Conquer it works and all but the sound is sort of laggy. I was nearly in stitches listening to Kanes voice as he sounded deeper than ever. The only thing I havent tried is maybe getting a EU version as the copy I have is US. So if anyone knows why the sound is laggy that would be cool. Also if I make both CD's into one package I cannot change disc it only sees one...

Nevermind I have found the solution...

To all those who are converting PSX games to run on PS3 HAN

If you have a PAL console then you must get EUR rips not US i.e the region the game is from must match your console and as I live in NZ my region is PAL...

Hello, I have a problem that I can not find a solution for, I place placeholder, the rif, the resigned game, I've done it well because I've done it many times with other ps3 and with this one a long time ago, but now when I start any ps2 game it shuts down the console, I do not know what I will do wrong and I do not realize. Any solution?

I want to thank all the forums community and devs for their hard work for ps3 exploit and han finally i am able to play my ps2 games thanks i havr a question regarding same if anyone can provide assistance

I have successfully installed a ps2 game but after closing every game i get dns error and need to restart system to fix that error your help is much appreciated thanks have a great day .

You need to enable HAN again after playing any ps2 classics game.
