PS3 [UPDATE] PASTA 4.84 STANDARD DEX + COBRA DEX CFW (by Joonie) for debug/converted consoles

It's pretty much inspired by @Rancid-o 's PS3iTA except this does not come with "CFW Setup" homebrew neither "Package Manager". I know the demographic is very little for this type of CFW but I could image this this would be still useful for those who do not want COBRA neither REBUG.

The features are pretty basic. For PSN, you will either have to use CCAPI or webMAN to spoof IDPS if your unit is converted retail

If you use "CEX" binary on "DEX" CFW you get a semi brick... if you're making CEX one then yes use CEX binary.

Yes i know mine is CEX CFW so i will copy the CEX binary :)

Unfortunately you're going to have to use stage2.cex from STARBUGED 4.84.2 otherwise it won't work since REBUG 4.84.1 REX edition's made out of 90% DEX firmware modules..

Thank you for your reply, especially about the brick warning. I'll just wait until you release a COBRA version :)

Changing HDD is the same as how you would do retail's.

unfortunatly it doesn't seem, with a 1TB with deleted partition, the only message i got, and i can go further (reinstalling firmware etc) is "impossible startup, the apropriate system storage was not found"

DECHA00 does not require reinstalling Firmware since the firmware itself resides in NAND. you need to enter recovery mode then format your HDD from there.
