PS3 webMAN Mod 1.41.26 - Displays Playtime & More

Update (2): Version 1.41.29 released. Here is another update to a great plugin for PlayStation 3 custom firmware users. webMAN Mod has been updated by developer Aldostools and in this update he has introduced some interesting features. With a couple of button combos you can now view the time you have played on your system. Good for parents wanting to keep an eye on their children and give them the boot when they think it's time for some outside time. Below is the changelog with some details to the two revisions I missed.

UPDATE 2​ Changelog 1.41.29:

• /rebuild.ps3 - rebuild database
• /recovery.ps3 - pseudo recovery mode
• /reboot.ps3 - hard reboot
• PSID spoofing fixed on 4.70 CEX

Added 3 new http commands... Now it cannot be easier to enter into (pseudo) recovery mode or rebuild the ps3 database without the annoying power button sequence.

• Improved memory usage when games are scanned.
• Reverted the MAX usage to 1280KB.

• Reduced allocated memory in MAX memory usage setting from 1280KB to 1152KB.
• Updater: the files are copied, if the shadow copy fails.

• Added display of Play time & startup time to SELECT+START and /cpursx.ps3
• Use SELECT+START+R2 to display Game ID, Title, play time and more in-Game info

• Fixed regression displaying text encoded in Big5

First of all: Thanks for the updates [MENTION=89]aldostools[/MENTION]!

But since the pseudo recovery function is comming up again,
i tried using the function for a long time now, it still doesn't work on NAND consoles?

I'm just asking cause Condorstrikes "Condor Updater" only works for NOR models too.

Never got it to work on 3 different CECHG Models.
Neither with the Rebug Toolbox or webMAN Mod, it just reboots the console normally.

Any advice?

I'm sure this add-on uses the same method as Condor Updater (same with REBUG Toolbox) which I did a lot of testing for Condorstrike and nothing was ever found to work on Nand models so pretty sure this is only going to work on Nor models

I figured. Rebug didn't mention this on their website though, so i thought they figured it out

Thank you for the video. But if I cannot reproduce your issue, it will be hard to fix to it.

Can you try reducing the memory usage? Or deleting the wmconfig.bin? If they don't help, could you post a screenshot (or save html) of your /setup.ps3

Also try refreshing the XML manually with SELECT+L3 or using /refresh.ps3

While more details you can gather on how to reproduce the bug, more help me to identify the cause and fix it.

If i refresh the xml's he told me that the scan was successfully done (@Joonie told i should try prepntfs 1.10 too but won't work too he find the content but don't show them on the XMB)

Thanks for the settings... They look normal to me, but these are some settings that you could try:

1. Try increasing the delays scanning USB. Try using the maximum delays 10/10. If that works, then you can adjust the delays until you find the minimum values that works for you.
2. Try deleting /dev_hdd0/xmlhost/game_plugin/mygames.xml. Reboot and check if the xml is generated. There could be permissions issue in the folder.
3. During the test, remove any other plugin that you could be using and select MIN for Memory Usage.

Also consider /rebuild.ps3

The xml's will be generated (i'll checked them first) i just using webMAN so no other Plugin running in the background the database refresh i tried too but nothing works : |

After i install webman 1.41.29 MOD in html mode (via browser) not show the id as part of the title of the game. Via xmb is ok but not via browser.

What are these letters and numbers in the square brackets next to the title of Grid or GT6?

Maybe your browser is not displaying the CSS properly after the change made to improve the display on cellphone and tablets.

Could you try with a different browser like Chrome, MSIE or FireFox? I think this issue is specific to the browser.

since now i think that the id was displayed down of the title..

Yes, it did. But in recent builds I introduced a display inline command to the CSS, to produce a better display of the text on mobile browsers. I will make the plugin don't use that CSS setting on index.ps3, so the grid will behave like before and you'll be happy

I installed webman mod first with the 4.66 darknet to test it....


i liked it...


then i upgrade the system to the CFW 4.70 darknet and now i cant load nothing from this webman mod because when it opens the navigator there he goes a blank screen with the error 80130186



with gamesonic all works fine for example...


what can i do? theres a way to uninstall the webman mod? or what can i do?

1. delete /dev_hdd0/webftp_server.sprx
2. if you only use webMAN, delete /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt (otherwise, edit the file and remove the line that executes webftp_server.sprx)
3. delete the folder /dev_hdd0/xmlhost/game_plugin and all the files that it contains
4. delete the folder /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_lang and all the files that it contains
5. delete the folder /dev_hdd0/tmp/wm_icons and all the files that it contains
6. delete the folder /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp and all the files that it contains
7. delete /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmconfig.bin

BTW In the next build I'll add these steps to the web command: /delete.ps3?uninstall

i have update for webman mod 1.3x.xx to 1.41.29 , all fine but no slider work , i have black page
i update from draknet cobra 4.66 1.02 to cobra 7.02 4.70 , and also slider not working
before updating webman i have remove no things !!
