PS3 webMAN MOD 1.41.30 Released

A few updates have been made to webMAN Mod since we last reported it. Since just over a week ago developer Aldostools had added some http commands, a great idea, that allows you to rebuild database, enter 'recovery mode' and reboot your PS3. In version 1.41.30, which was released yesterday, you will notice the inclusion of the ps3mapi updates and also some style sheet fixes and improvements.

aldostools, thanks in advance for your work and for your plugin, but i'm having some issues with your last version of webman.
If i unmount webman (and psnpatch) from the system with the combo L2+R2+R3 the ps3 wont shut down correctly and when i start the console again, it says that the system had a bad shutdown.
I've made some tests and with the version 1.40.26 everything is working fine but when i upgrade to version 1.41.30 i've that problem.

Cheers

Any time you have an issue it always best to state what CFW you are using it on.

I was having that issue with habibs cobra 7.10 since updating to webman .31 and psnpatch .05
Triple beep every shutdown. Originally put it down to my hdd corrupting and swapped for a different drive.
Still got a couple of hours before my restore finishes on the new HDD to see if it helps

In my case, previously mounted PSP iso caused that issue. Try unmounting any games before shutdown see if that fixes.

If you use the version 1.40.26 that comes with psnpatch you will not have any problems, this only happens with version of webman after .26

Before aldo answer you can try version 1.41.31 of Webman Mod, maybe this help you.

I've tried, and the only version that works for me without any problem is the .26 version

This happens on CFW 4.70 habib cobra 7.10

I've no kind of mounted psx/ps2/psp game, and happens with mounted ps3 game or without game mounted, to reply i simple start ps3 and do the combo L2+R2+R3 and shutding down the console does 3 bips.

Have you tried going to an older version of psnpatch instead?
I've been up to date on all the latest webmans with no issue.
Was only since updating psnpatch to .05 I've been encountering issues tbh.
.02 gave me heaps of grief on non cobra firmware but seems to be ok with cobra.

Still got about half an hour left on my restore before I can play around.

Might be a timing issue since psnpatchs plugin loads at the same time as webman now.
Both worked together for a bit but quickly fell apart.
(talking out my arse here as I don't really know how the plugins / cobra load) :)

It happens to me everytime that i unload webman from the memory, i've made the test of unload psnpatch and leave webman plugin mounted and ps3 works normaly, so for me the issue is with the latest versions of webman / with the plugin when unmounted with the combo L2+R2+R3

Are these semi bricks caused on 4.70 alone
As i want to update on 4.46 to new psn patch self_slaughter Joonie

I have latest webman no issue there

Mayby there needs to be a warning if useing both latest psnpatch and webman on habib 4.70/7.10

uhm... i dont think so, because with .26 version of webman i dont have this kind of issues, everything works fine after unload both plugins

I've still got a bit left on my system restore since changing hard drives to test.
Going to swap and change a bit and see what's causing it.
My gut instincts on the psnpatch .05 / cobra 7.10 combination to be honest as I've used a few previous versions of webman with no issues.

I should of just stuck with darknet 4.70 cobra 7.03, That was working flawlessly for me with psnpatch .02 and webman .30

I got exactly your issue. I tested with Habib cobra 4.70, Webman 1.40.31 and PSNpatch 4.70.02. Whenever I used combo L3+R3+R2 to disable CFW, go online then the next startup, I got message that PS3 did not shutdown correctly and file system need to be checked. I just wonder should I come back webman 1.40.26 as kapa mentioned.

Yeah just tried this with psnpatch .02 and got the triple beep on shutdown after disabling webman and cfw.
Might go back to darknet 4.70 cobra.
Something's not mixing well with habibs cobra and webman.
Will try .26 of webman tomorrow, then switch back to darknet and see how the combinations go.

I'm using the .26 version and everything is ok now

Too many things I like in webman now. I'd rather change back to darknet then downgrade webman :)
Nothing in habibs cobra to really keep me there.

I think those two devs just have it in for each other lol.

I don't know anything about 4.70 specific issue, I am using my own and I don't suffer from any issues like people here, I haven't fully tested all features from webMAN, but basic functions do work fine on my end.

Its sounds to me like its a Habib 4.70 Cobra issue. Because1 it seems that is the only CFW i see listed that is causing the issues.

My advice would be to change firmwares and see if the problem is there with other firmwares. if its not then you know its a problem in habib's 4.70 cobra
