webMAN MOD

PS3 webMAN MOD - General Information Thread 1.47.48q

Please try with the current build... There was a bug (regression) computing the lba from the CUE file that should be fixed in the current build.

@aldostools
I tested the latest changes reported on git hub about wMM and slaunch Mod 1.07

To recognize wMM and slaunch Mod the NTFS file I had to disable into Setup the Check in dev_ntfs, so I had a scan with the latest changes in prepntfs is recognized all game on ntfs partition.

I had to clear the wmtmp folder.

I performed the following tests:

Ps3 Game from USB disk ntfs OK
Ps2 Game from disk inside HDD0 OK
PsXISO USB Disk outdoor OK

I would say that this version is much more stable.

I would like to emphasize that WMM and sLaunch Mod have an important feature, [The scanning subfolder of the first level].
Excellent optimized feature slaunch in recent days.

Thanks with gratitude

Thank you for your feedback. To avoid any confusion I have updated the stable version to 1.47.01

Any user using wMM 1.46.xx or 1.47.00 should upgrade to 1.47.01

Nice work!

Finally got the new ntfs drive set up and so far, none of the previous issues seem present with .01
Tested ps2 from internal and psx/ps3 from ntfs with 0 problems. :)

edit: I had to manually copy jgp artwork from the ntfs drive (same name as iso) into /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp/
I think prepntfs or multiman copied the psx covers for me, but not the ps3 ones.
Havent copied the PS2 onto the ntfs drive yet to test. (Showed fine from internal drive)

Could/Should this be incorporated into the xml scan like sman?

edit 2: for some reason Harvest Moon for the psx thinks it's a PS3 game. lol (Excuse crappy photos)

Solid as a rock so far though.

A similar thing happens with some of my roms in 1.46 and 1.47.0 (it used to work in 1.46) gonna try the newest wmm build in a few hours.

Trinitron <3

In 1992 I bought a sony Trinitron 27" for like $470 I think ..I was in the military at the time. That tv went through like 8 moves, COUNTLESS times I left it on at night while I would fall asleep and would stay on pretty much all night.

Tons of games were play on it.

Later on when you turn it on, it would make a very loud noise at start up (which I found out was pretty normal and it was due to some magnets inside) but worked like a champ.

about 4 yrs ago I gave it away to a family that had just come to the U.S. and had nothing. Here we are 25yrs later and that #@$*?! tv STILL works, colors STILL look good! It weights as much as an fully loaded pick up truck but damn it lasts and NEVER has it needed repair.

my A-hole 70" sharp aquos on the other had that is 3yrs old no games are EVER played on it and cost about $1700...has been repaired once and then completely replaced (both issues covered under warranty though)

That sony was the best tv I've ever owned and if I had it now , I'd be rocking my old school games on it with my Raspberry pi 3!

(and i think im going to trade something to get it back :) mine looked like this one:

I had one of these Trinitrons when I was a teenager in the 80's :)

BTW I have added a new feature to 1.47.01 that can auto-disable the CFW syscalls when a physical PS3 disc is inserted on XMB.
(same as press R2+TRIANGLE after insert the disc).

The new option is a check box labeled "PS3 DISC" next to the combo "DEL CFW SYSCALLS".

I can confirm 1.47.01 works flawlessly. Even all of my roms (47 roms) are grouped correctly in their category. The only issue (not much of a issue lol) is that my png covers are not displayed on sman(mod), only grey covers are shown.

Since webMAN MOD 1.47.01
After exit multiman (and playing game mount by multiman) after that when mount ps1 game in xmb by webman nothing happens ( there is no freeze and no mounting) , also mounting by browser work fine. Is it know issue? Thanks for your support.

Ahh I remember spending plenty of hours on one of those back in the master system / snes days.

I picked up the big old flatscreen trinitron for $20aud not long ago. Bloke had it just for some light gun games. It was always a dream to own one back in the day, but far too expensive for our family at the time...

Retro arch looks stunning via the PS3 component cables, with no need for filters etc. It's like an RGB modded everything without the tuning issues.

Best bang for buck purchase ever. :D

I entered the plugins folder, which is in hdd0, but I could not find the webftp_server.sprx from my webMAN. I use Rebug 4.81.2
The webMAN is already enabled in the ToolBox. I upgraded to the latest version of the webMAN too, but not yet appeared webftp_server.sprx, only the line in boot_plugins.
I intended deleting the plugins folder to install sman and realized that webftp_server.sprx I was not in folder ,only other plugins. How can webMAN be working properly without sprx?:confused3::confused3:

webMAN MOD 1.47.06 (updated DEC 04, 2017)
This is just a maintenance release to address a bug found recently launching PS2 ISO on BC/SEMIBC consoles.
Also the virtual pad now is turned off when a game is mounted to prevent the ghost controller that occasionally appear in some games.
SND0.AT3 now are muted only on XMB and restored when the games are launched (when the option is enabled).
