The psp launchers are enabled mounting any PSP ISO or opening http://0/remap.ps3

After that, you can reinstall or delete the launchers.

But whyrebuild database broke a PSP Launcher?

If a PSP ISO is not mounted, the psp launchers are blocked (redirected to a blank folder).
When rebuild database scans these folders, find them empty, breaking the database entry for these items.

As I mentioned above, it can be fixed easily reinstalling the launchers with a PSP ISO mounted or using the web command /remap.ps3

Hello!
I have a problem launching games from webman 1.47.397 , digital games installed on hdd. All of them only show black screen. And get stuck in there.
If i launch game from xmb , game works fine.
REBUG_4.84.2_REX (tested both DEX and CEX) same behavior.
console slim CECH-20xxA (internal drive)
Any suggestions what can i do to remedy the issue?
Thanks

Try using the updater found in webMAN Games > webMAN Setup. Reboot after the installation.
If the problem persists after the update, provide more detail about your games like current path where they are installed (e.g. /dev_usb000/GAMEI/NPEB12345).

A recent update fixed an issue related to GAMEI games not being mapped correctly to /dev_hdd0/game/<GAME-ID>

NOTE: Some PSN may not work from external storage, because they are mapped to a different path (e.g. <GAME-ID>_INSTALL

Ok updated, restarted.
It behaves differently now. When i launch game thorough webman it shows game loaded in top corner. But doesn't launch game , instead it adds new game icon on top of app path and if i press it it goes to black screen.
Games i tested Diablo 3 BLUS31188 and Gran turismo 6
game is installed from pkg so path is
/dev_hdd0/game/BLUS31188
i dont have external storage. Its installed on internal drive

Here is youtube video recorded behavior

I haven't tried these games in digital (PSN format). So I'm not sure why they don't launch.

I recommend that exclude these games from the list and organize the digital content in albums like in this tutorial:

Could Webman Mod sort games by age ? I'm thinking this info could be grabbed from the PARAM.SFO

No. The PARAM.SFO does not contain the date of the game.

An alternative method is that you create sub-folders with years and move your ISOs manually to them.
That would work only for ISOs, since folder games don't support subfolders.

You may need to uncheck the PARAM.SFO and the game sorting will be limited to the first 3 characters of the folder & file name.

@IceLancerSR Today I was testing PAIN and I could reproduce the black screen issue that you reported.

I managed to fix the error mapping the USRDIR of the game to /app_home.

Try updating again (and rebooting after update). This change could have solved the black screen issue with GT6 and Diablo 3 too.

Aldostools , i'm referring to the Parental Lock Level field in PARAM.SFO , which stands for recommended age .
That information is available in PARAM.SFO, but I think this kind of classification is too particular.

Custom XML
You can create a custom menu using /dev_hdd0/wm_custom.xml to create custom lists of games in webMAN Games menu.

Extended Content Profiles
If you need to hide content from young kids, you can use the 4 extended content profiles to store the games.
You put your games in /PS3ISO_1 or /GAMES_1 or /PSXISO_1 (or _2, _3 or _4).

By default only /PS3ISO or /GAMES will be listed.

The additional content will be listed only if you select the profile 1, 2, 3 or 4 in /setup.ps3 and refresh XML.
Or use the combos: SELECT+L3 +R2=profile1, +L2=profile2, +R1=profile3, +L1=profile4

External NTFS/exFAT/FAT32 devices
A safer method is to store the hidden content in pendrives or removable USB drives. You attach them only when needed.

Try using the updater found in webMAN Games > webMAN Setup. Reboot after the installation.

Awesome Aldo, I tried a few PSN games, everything works smoothly. Is it possible to make CFW2OFW games work on USB Drive too? I tried it and got error 10010009, if PARAM.SFO is changed to HG, get notification the game is corrupt.

Note: tried to install game update, still error.

Thanks.

Did you try storing the CFW2OFW game in /dev_usb000/GAMEI ?
It should appear in the game list if you have checked the GAMEI option in /setup.ps3

If that doesn't work, you can try mapping the game folder (where PARAM.SFO is found) to /app_home/PS3_GAME
and the USRDIR folder to /app_home. Then launch the game from ★ PlayStation®3 or ★ app_home/PS3_GAME

Example:
http://0/remap.ps3/app_home/PS3_GAME&to=/dev_usb000/GAMEI/NPEB12345
http://0/remap.ps3/app_home&to=/dev_usb000/GAMEI/NPEB12345/USRDIR

Anyway these CFW2OFW should launch directly from XMB without any backup manager if you store them in hdd0.
Or use SELECT+SQUARE to redirect /dev_hdd0/game to /dev_usb000/GAMEI

If you don't want to install directly /dev_usb000, you can copy the files manually to the USB drive using File Manager or FTP, then install a small PKG only to create the icon on XMB.

Hello!
I love webman function that mounts packages as home and lets me install everything from that folder in one go.
But as you said:
Code:
Actually "Install All Packages" works for any local path (no web links). Only needs to remap the path containing the packages to /app_home

For the moment that is only possible in CFW. BTW webMAN MOD remaps /dev_hdd0/packages to /app_home when a game is unmounted
Its kinda a drag to use it when i restart console, i need to mount/dismount game first to access this feature. And i only found out about that behavior by accident.
Is there a way to make that work on demand?
Thanks

As the quote says, the folder /dev_hdd0/packages is redirected to /app_home on the unmount event.
You can unmount without mounting a game first just pressing SELECT+O
You can do it also though the XMB menu or using the web command /mount.ps3/unmount

If you need to mount /dev_hdd0/packages when the plugin is started or when you unmount a game, just set the Home path to /dev_hdd0/packages in /setup.ps3. That option is found under the "IDPS & MEM Setup" section.

For instance, I normally set the Home path to /dev_hdd0/game/RELOADXMB so I can reload VSH quickly.

If you prefer to replace the ★ app_home/PS3_GAME or ★ PlayStation3 icon with a homebrew like IRISMAN just set the Home path to /dev_hdd0/game/IRISMAN00

It can be handy to have multiMAN, ManaGunZ, Apollo ST, Movian, or any application of your preference in a easy to access location and make app_home icon more useful.

Note: The Home option must be check marked to enable it. If Home is unchecked, /app_home will be unmapped when the plugin loads and it will change to the folder /dev_hdd0/packages when a game is unmounted or SELECT+O is pressed.

Hey! Happy new year!
I am still being plagued by ftp issues.

in webman default ftp timeout says 0 and you said that it represents default 20 seconds.
If i try to change that 0 number to anything else i cannot connect to ps3 any more at all.
and if i leave it by default i cant leave ps3 alone because ftp connection drops constantly and i cant finish copying files.

+This always happens when there are bigger number of small files.
Code:
Command: PASV
Response: 227 Entering Passive Mode (192,168,0,101,144,135)
Command: STOR s0300_010_11_Claire_jpn.at3
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity

and this happens if i change 0 timeout to any other number
Code:
Status: Waiting to retry...
Status: Connecting to 192.168.0.101:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 webMANftpd 1.47.37 MOD [NTFS:0]
Command: AUTH TLS
Error: Connection closed by server
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

In first case only solution is to reboot entire ps3 to get it working again. But that is short lived and drops quickly later again.

P.S
i dont know whats the problem any more.
I was on rebug before. And i had no trouble leaving ftp transfer overnight. But now i am on evilnat and its either that or webman update being very evil toward me :(
