Firstly, I doubt very much that webMAN-MOD messed up your whole system, simply something must be wrong in your webMAN-MOD settings...
What CFW are you using? Because as Rebug integrates webMAN-MOD, things are slightly different in the details.

The best solution is to have webMAN-MOD working first. Install the latest wMM updater pkg from github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases, then launch the updater.
On reboot, webMAN-MOD should be working, open the browser & use this URL.
Code:
http://localhost/delete.ps3?uninstall
This should remove all webMAN-MOD files from your system.

Alternatively there is the manual method.
1. Open the /dev_hdd0/boot_plugins.txt file & remove the paths to webftp_server.sprx, wm_vsh_menu.sprx, slaunch.sprx then save the file.
2. Delete the folder /dev_hdd0/xmlhost as well as all the folders & files in /dev_hdd0/tmp which names begin with "wm".
3. Delete the files /dev_hdd0/webftp_server.sprx, /dev_hdd0/plugins/wm_vsh_menu.sprx, /dev_hdd0/plugins/slaunch.sprx & the folder /dev_hdd0/plugins/images.
4. If you use Rebug CFW, use the Rebug Toolbox to disable webman in the Selector column.
5. Reboot the console.

thanks so much for taking the time to help i would like to show you a video i made of the issue im having maybe you could see whats going on many thanks

Guys I have webman mod 1.45.02 installed, now I wish to update to the latest version.
Should I need to remove the older version first and then install newer one or the newer one can be installed on the older one without removing it.
Thanks.

I was getting that error a lot a few weeks back. Usually when quitting games after being paused for an extended period, rather than when loading them though. Or when trying to restart the console sometimes.
Was a pita having to find a usb cable to get it running again every time.

I thought it was related to me having petitboot installed at the time, after removing linux and a few cfw reinstalls, filesystem check, database rebuild etc. all seems well now... :/
I have changed to vanilla webman since though.

I was using standard memory usage in full webmanmod (+psnpatch) at the time as I have around 300 games.
So it may of been a memory issue all along?

edit: What rebug are you running? I'm pretty sure I was running 4.81.1 when I was having issues, but am now on 4.81.2. (+cobra 7.51)
I changed way too many things at once to pinpoint what fixed it as it was driving me nuts, lol.

WMM has never needed to be uninstalled before getting updated, even though it's possible to do it by using
Code:
http://<ps3-ip-address>/delete.ps3?uninstall
in a browser on any device connected to your lan. Of course, if you launch the web command directly in the ps3 browser, you can replace the ps3 ip address in the url by "localhost" or by "127.00.1".

It's not required to go through the uninstall, you could simply install the latest Updater pkg from github.com/aldostools/webMAN-MOD/releases then launch it holding the right pad button to install the desired edition. You can check the differences between editions in the wMM General information thread if you do not know what edition to install. After console reboot, you can delete the updater app from XMB.

Due to some fundamental changes in wMM since 1.45.xx, you should also perform these 2 steps after updating webMAN-MOD for compatibility reasons.

1. Review your wMM setup page including new features like scanning /dev_ntfs. It might be necessary to save the settings to update the configuration file.
2. It may also be required to use "refresh Xml" to update your old games listing. You do not need to use prepntfs for ntfs external drives anymore.

YEP same as me!!!!!!!! im on 4.81.2 but i have found someting

when i put psn patch 2017.02a and you press l3 r3 r2 when i went to load the games it kept going wrong, i stopped usein it and just press x to spoof all and now it seems to work, but i dont get to block homebrew apps ;/

good luck mate. i eventually got mine sorted and happy now on rebug 4.81.2 dex, vanilla webman 1.47n and psnpatch 2017.02b, but still no idea what actually was wrong.
Playing bulk black ops 2 online lately. that homebrew blocker is a god send for piece of mind. :)

what about cdda games, i dont neet cue files?

I'm having issues playing PS1 BIN+CUE on webman mod 01.47.00 after updating from 01.46.02. Games will mount and attempt to load in PS1 mode but black screen and become completely unresponsive. I've tried clearing my wmconfig and setting up my settings again but I cannot fix the issue. CECH-A01 REBUG 04.81.2 with newest COBRA 7.5 payload running Standard webman mod profile. PS2 & PS3 mounting and playing are not affected.

Confirmed on 1.47.00+8

Tried both emulators and disabling the new 3 meg memory option.
Black screen of DEATH everytime. lol

Any ideas @aldostools ?

Tried crash bandicoot 1 and castlevania s.o.t.n. so far.

Reverting back to webman vanilla 1.47n works fine.
