A smal update has arrived to the popular PS3 plugin that comes packed with tons of functionality. webMAN MOD has been updated from developer @aldostools with the release of version 1.47.26. This is not a huge update but the dev has pushed a fixed to a "gamepad combo" issue that was reported by wmm user gosseux,The problem seemed to occur if combo "select+up/down" was disabled it also was disabling "Select+O" button combo. This since has been fixed with this new update, also there was a requested feature added. That feature (syscall command via web) should not be used unless you know you are doing as there could be some issue occur if used incorrectly. So its a use at your own risk feature . More about that feature can be seen in the changelog provided below.

Thanks for your reply mate! It clarifies a little for me the situation. I tell you that the only Homebrew application I have on the PS3 is WebMAN Mod, updated to its latest version. I am using Hen 3.0. Even when turning on the console, I wait a bit of time to mount an ISO, having the same problem sometimes. Even from the browser I had system freezes. What I ended up doing, to avoid these errors, was to insert the external HDD that I used (of 1Tb capacity) in the console and reinstall the HFW and HEN. Then, as many games as possible, install them in PKG format on the console (with their respective rap files) and thus be able to start them from the XMB without using WebMan mounting ISOS. It is a time consuming process (depending on the size of each game), but quite effective at the moment. Other games, which do not exist in digital format (PKG), such as God of War 3 for example, I put in ISO format on the internal HDD. This may decrease errors during game assembly. Hopefully this problem can be solved in a future update. Thank you very much for this excellent Homebrew !! Greetings.

Is it okey to turn off control fan utility in webman mod or sMan ......
      Ps3 slim 2003A.
Making too much noise fan is spinning like hell

It is likely that your console needs a cleaning and a change of thermal paste. The fan operating algorithm established by WebMAN Mod allows the CPU to work in optimal temperatures, if possible. So it would not be the best option to disable it. With cleaning, this would be easier. regards.

Yes, webMAN MOD is firmware independent since 4.82 or 4.84 ;)

Most of its features are API call to Cobra/PS3HEN/MAMBA. So if they are properly updated, webMAN MOD should work. Same applies to other backup managers like mmCM, sman, webMAN or IRISMAN, except that the firmware version reported could wrong.

      I installed webMAN MOD yesterday.
I backed up 1 of my game on NTFS eternal drive as ISO.
It is normal that I cannot see it in my game webman MOD folder?

The ISO should be stored in the folder /PS3ISO (all letters in uppercase)

If you have the standard or full edition, it should appear in the list the next time that scan the content. Or use prepNTFS to scan the content manually.

It is important that you disable the scan for content on startup and always scan manually.
Sometimes the USB is not detected when the plugin starts.

it's a weird problem, it never happened to me. Try deleting the temporary WebMAN mod files from the options menu. Then it rescan the content a few times and then restart the console. Maybe that can help you. Cheers

Hello mate. Try reinstalling Webman MOD in its latest version. Uninstall previously and then proceed to install, keeping L1 for the full version. That could help. Regards.
