Yeap via boot_init.txt they aren't beeing remapped

i also tried map <path>=<path> same thing
 
I never had any luck with boot.ini either. I thought maybe I just didnt know how to use it .

@aldostools could you provide any more info or a working example of a boot.ini file with remaps please?

aren't beeing remapped too, i made them as empty files and it doen't change anything

the sprxs works fine (Only via web command, via boot_init.txt they are being ignored
 
Why is it that when I download webman mod and click to open it and it won't give me an option to open it through winrar or open it through anything? Is there a different program I need in order to open it and put it on my flash drive? And is there any way I can install it through the web browser? Please reply thank you

put pkg on usb
put usb in ps3
use package manager to install (or it may say "install packages")

How do I put it on the usb though this might sound stupid lol but like I have it downloaded but when I click open on my pc after download to run it it won't give me an option to open through winrar i don't know what I'm doing wrong lol

dont open on pc if file is .pkg
just copy the file you downloadwd to usb
 
Why is that when I copied my game disc over to my hdd and load the game up my controller won't work for the game like for example I have gta 5 copied and I have it loaded but when's it gets to the display calibration page when first started out it won't allow me to adjust the brightness nor will it allow me to hit x to confirm please reply thank you

the only time i have had that problem was when i used a "usb gamepad" (normally used on pc so it doest have ps button). it only worked on some games. gta v was one that did not work on.

try a different controller or game.

there is aslo a controller tester homebrew here...it will show if buttons are working at all. hold the ps button to exit when done.

Thank you i will try that out could it also be because I'm not using the multi man base version or does that not matter? I'm currently using the hen version and do you know any websites to download the iso files of games? I heard that there is a *** PlayStation Store *** I could download but I cant find it anywhere so is that not legit or is it just not available anymore?

Yep, PlayStation Store its as a wide collection
they ship the game in an easy to install format.

I have a quick question how come when I try and play a game through disk on my ps3 it does nothing but freeze my console and none of the buttons will work on copied games other than when I press the ps button this is so frustrating lol
 
Just tried the install command and it keeps loading in the web browser and nothing happens

any tips?

I could get the pkg to work now after a reboot, but it freezes the xmb, after the notification.

A second try did not freeze, the xmb are working but i can't move it, and the clock icon is infinitely spinning.

i'm using the module action to call the RELOAD xmb iso via /play.ps3, it works fine since the user will not need to have the RELOAD xmb pkg installed and my mod will automatically place the iso in a separed folder.

I'm using this as a Apply Customizations item, to apply the waves, psn icons and etc after the user has been done selecting all the desired customization items.

It works very good.

The thing I want to know if it can be used with a combination of commands like /play.ps3 and after it beeing launched it automatically /unmont so the ISO will not stay monted in the xmb.

Or even better after it mounting and launching it automatically mont the latest game that has been monted before the Reload XMB

Why do you use an ISO to reboot the system? You can call: /reboot.ps3 or /restart.ps3 without any addon installed.

There are various restart modes, you can find them in the OP of this thread.

If you need to mount the last played game after reboot, there is an option for that when you expand the "webMAN Setup" section in /setup.ps3

If you already have it enabled and you don't want to remember the last played game, delete /dev_hdd0/tmp/wmtmp/last_game.txt
