Why webMAN doesn't support PSVita?

None
He didn't troll or go against site rules. It was more the ethics of being paid for a tool that contained other people's work.

Nothing was the world I was looking for... Thanks bits.

If anything, he stopped altogether replying to most people's posts/pm & is now but a ghost in the scene updating his own stuff...

Am sorry but if ever he did something wrong, which remains to be seen, going all judge/jury/executioner on him was probably not the most clever approach

As I said before, we have very few devs with us. Forget the ones who are just here for the glory & what have you. Even though, I have nothing against those either because they serve a purpose. They don't stay though, no support, no maintenance, they just help open the way... Which is appreciated as well nonetheless but as soon as we look longer term..

Can we really afford to alienate a dev like this? For those reasons? For trying to make a buck? If that was the reason...

How many c/c++ devs follow our forums & help their fellow scene coders?
Look at the recent thread about a Vita 3D sample to get an idea....
It's obvious to me in any thread asking for development help. If Aldo does not come up with an answer, who else?

He went to tortuga cove if I remember correctly
Or was it psxscene
Anyway he did webman after mmcm
That was good following the fast flowing posts of edits and releases of webman

He went back to PSX-Scene after that.

Tortuga-Cove was support for mmCM which i do not believe that last to long there.
. .

One last thing that comes through mind is if we take multiman/mmCM & webman (consequently webMAN-MOD of course) out the ps3 scene... We are left with enough tools but it's not the same scene anymore....

Don't/Didn't we owe him more than banning him with one hand while installing his last update with the other? [emoji3]

It's the opinion of a few that gave him the ban
And the view of the end user who still uses his manager that install the updates

Things could have been done differently but it's all in the past now and I'm sure there was a lot more going on and being said in private chats that fuelled this more.

Sure it is in the past...
But we still live with the consequences & influences of those actions...
If anything, there is lesson to be learnt here..

"A decision of a few... " It says it all...
As to the thousands of end users, who would ban a golden goose? I doubt that any of the BS came from them..

yes, afaik, mm was for his own personal use, but he decided to release it for others. there's a reason @aldostools calls him master Deank. he's earned a lot of respect among members and devs alike.

That is exactly why I am saying this & making a point!
Otherwise I would probably not even bother.

The issue is not ps3hax per se here! Let's not get confused... It's about attitude, respect...

Hell deank only was banned a single time from ps3hax. He will be okay and it was just ps3hax.

I know others who have been banned alot more :)

Heck i wrote most of ps3hax news for a period and they banned me (news they "borrowed")
