how can I put the transparent background on the watch?
in the pkg of Blue_OLD_Stock_theme.pkg it appears transparent to me, I know it's a detail but I changed the xmb_plugin_normal.rco from Blue_OLD_Stock_theme.pkg to Black_theme.pkg and it changed the icons to the old one

To make the clock transparent you can use "xmb_plugin_normal.rco and xmb_ingame.rco". But you will need to extract the PNG from them and then replace the old logo with the new one. In your case the black one and repack it and install and you'll have black psn ball with transparent clock!

EDIT: I made one with transparent clock bar (black theme) right now! Download it if you want to!

It is much better without that bar in the clock ... in case you do not know, the PS3 was like this before, without the transparent bar, it was from firmware 3.00 that it appeared. Sony should have thought of something better than instead of this bar, all this so that the news and information that appear below the clock do not "float" in an empty space, but particularly I do not think strange.

I´ve a PS3 CECH 2004A, OFW 3.83, 120 GB. I've ran PS3 - MinVerChk ( using a link provided here )and it says - " update data of version 2.70 or later can be installed on this system (8002F967) ". What does it means ? Is my model ready to jailbreak ( turning it customizable ) and I can install CFW ? If so, which steps I must follow to avoid bricking the console ? Is there any guide available here in the forum?

Your PS3 can be jailbroken! But you'll need to downgrade to 3.55 or update to 4.84 HFW to install CFW! You can find many tutorials on YouTube, I will send you one later that will work and is tested!

This is a very detailed tutorial on how to jailbreak your console if u don't have a flasher to downgrade to 3.55

I'll watch the tutorial carefully to start doing what I was looking for many time ago. Btw how PS2 games look played in this console( after conversion I mean )?Is the conversion process a long and hard journey? Can I play original PS2 discs? I use to play with PCSX2 in PC and they run fine with better resolution (on a 22 led monitor ). I've tested the same discs inside a real PS2 machine ( with same output) and what I got was a good performance and a low resolution( blurry images and not so clear )

There´s a point I don't understand : I'm on OFW 3.83. So I must update to Hfw 4.84 ( via usb as mentioned in tutorial ) and then install CFW ? To start the jailbreak I need to be sure to avoid any mistakes. And miniweb step can be skiped or there´s another way?

I didn't know webMAN MOD can host an FTP transfer. This will make it easier compared to launching a Homebrew like multiMAN.
