PS3 4.76.1 REBUG LITE w/ COBRA v7.1

A new CFW release comes from Team REBUG as they officially release 4.76 REBUG LITE that comes equipped with Cobra v7.1 features. This release differs from many rebug releases as it will not contain any DEX features and will not have access to some REBUG features, but with Cobra v7.1 you get many great CEX based features so if you are not looking at all those features but want a reliable CFW then this latest REBUG CFW could be that fit. i say a multiman issue as ive read people had the same "problem" on habib 4.76 cfw

I have a question regarding the Rebug.
Affair I disable the COBRA function in ToolBox I can use the Mamba or VSH PRX Loader? These questions arose and I wonder if it is possible. The my question is more by curious.
Since there it would make sense install the Mamba when I can turn on the COBRA in the ToolBox.

Why not is possible the update the PS3 with Rebug after formatting the HD in PC?
In the XMB is possible, but first i have to update the PS3 to another CFW.

I remember a post cyberskunk of team rebug made in which he mentioned having tested swapping/formatting hdds on each rebug firmware before releasing to make sure nothing interfered with it. I'm not sure if that's still the case with Joonie , but I've personally never heard of this issue involving rebug. there may be something wrong with ur setup.

I have no idea.. I swap my hdd all the time... if you can be more specific then I maybe able to help,

I think he means the fact that rebug cant be updated over itself from recovery menu (at least it cant for me and ive seen others post same thing) , I need to go to another FW first and then I can update to rebug again from the XMB.

I've never had this issue, but I always update rebug via update debug. the only time I go into the recovery menu is if I soft brick from modifying a flash file.

Yeah same here except when I do soft brick I need to install some other FW first as I get a corrupt data error when its tries to install rebug (only from recovery). same on both my slims, havnt tested phats recently. Seen others commenting on the same problem.

Its not a big deal anyway..just confirming the issue does exist.

might be the model? 'cause I've never had that issue if I've soft-bricked. I have a first model /gen slim (can't recall model number).

Could be model but I dunno, the one I have here handy is a CECH2003B , I think the other one is a CECH2001 (I have it lent to a friend). I don't think its a setup thing as its like that for me even if I have a formatted system with default rebug settings (except webman and cobra enabled of course).

I found it very strange the system refuse CFW.
When I put the HD formatted in the PS3,
it prompts to update, so I put the Rebug, but the PS3 did not agree.
So I put the HABIB 4.76 and the system accepted.
I tried Rebug three times and not work.
My friends reported the same problem.
I did the download direct of website Rebug.

That's exactly what happened, I gave up update with afraid of the PS3 give some sort of brick,it restarts all the time asking another update
