PS3 4.78.1 REBUG REX (D-REX) + COBRA v7.20 (w/ Rebug Toolbox v2.02.09)

Team REBUG is back again with a new Custom Firmware Release to enter the 4.78 Custom Firmware Era with 4.78.1 REBUG REX (D-REX) + COBRA v7.20, and as always the firmware has equipped the latest REBUG ToolBox (installs via Install Package Files). This may mark one of the fastest REBUG REX releases to hit the scene after an official firmware while that alone may be impressive about this release, Team Rebug also has some additional features to share in this CFW release for 4.78 user's.. The first change is that XMB Manager Plus (XMBM+) is now [break]sss[/break] supported in this firmware, XMB Settings (by Mysis/Sandungas and mods by littlebalup/aldostools) have been added to the firmware and can be toggled on and off via the newly updated REBUG Toolbox (v2.02.09), plus webMAN MOD (Rebug Edition) has been updated to v1.43.25 and has been integrated into this CFW release. Then of course REX (D-REX) comes equipped with the COBRA v7.2 payload, bringing you all those features found in this chart.

What's new since 4.76.1 REX/D-REX?
  • OFW: Support for Facebook features on the system has been officially discontinued by SONY - (Facebook app was removed from PSN store since last September, and finally all the remaining services became unavailable)
  • Rebug: XMBM+ support added - (XMB Manager Plus developed by Team XMBM now supported via standalone pkgs.) (More info regarding XMBM+ )
  • Rebug: webMAN MOD 1.43.25 - (It has many bug fixes and improved features!)
  • Rebug: REBUG toolbox has been updated from 2.02.08 to 2.02.09 - (Toggle XMB CFW settings added.)

On Habib cfw to go online i use psn patch disalbe cfw and then use irisman to the load game can i use this same method on rebug cfw

The problem is not the region, I confirmed that the region patching is working for DVD,

However there is video issue that does not allow cross compatibility

The best way to do is to use REGION swap via debug setting that actually change the video mode as well.. (It works)

Mysis and I have tried couple things in the past, but we got stuck due to this video issue..

BD works fine as it uses 1080p, however DVD is different story, NTSC/PAL have different resolutions. (480p/576p)

Same problem happens on PSX games with old PS3 models (NAND specific)

ok, thanks for the info. im using movian for my pal dvd isos currently and xmb for ntsc dvds so not really a big problem for me

I'd suggest a media player for anyone having issues. many of them can upscale pal/ntsc video, so u won't run into such video issues. I believe I've mentioned it before, but I had one that was around $50 which I gave to my parents. my new one was between $100-$150, and it can play virtually anything. I don't use my ps3 for such things. do note, this is for anyone who has issues with movian or the ps3 running video. plus, most media players play video files only, so u'd have to rip the content rather than using a disc. that's probably y media players rn't sold in stores, since it does make dvd/bluray obsolete. :)

I see several releases of CFW stardard being patched to work with ReActPSN , someone could explain me why REBUG is the only one not to be compatible with this Homebrew ? I know it's possible to do the same with the PSNPatch , but honestly I could never turn anything for him (;--;)

u also have the option to use rap2rif which requires ur act.dat and idps. edat files can be simply dropped into ur profile's exdata folder or zip installed with multiman. or u can use my tutorial on creating an edat pkg file for C00 games only. it'll create a new edat from scratch, but it'll work all the same. that's assuming u own the content, and don't want to drop edats in manually or can't access the content due to being banned.

it's probably just a word press error. I don't have any experience with word press though, only vb, to know for certain despite almost being the admin of a ps4 site that was going to use word press 'til the ps4 was hacked, then vb.

The other downloads are working so could have been pulled, its definitely not the server overloaded anyway as its only a text file! :)

dunno, but maybe u could help since u know him. I just purchased a "bits"bot 3000, but it doesn't seem to be working correctly. it always has :bitsbubba2: on the mind, so I had to strap it down...at least I think that's y. ;) I'm trying to program in simple commands, but it doesn't seem to respond correctly.
