latest version (4.81.1) and I check the CID inside irisman (in the menu with the voice "set new console id" you can see psid/cid numbers on bottom)

I'll check the src of IRISman

-ps3 was original and not banned
-dumped the nor and installed 4.81.2 cex, psn ok
-switched to dex, installed irisman, cid zero (so psn ko)
-restored the ps3, nothing changed
-installed 4.80.1 dex and cid correct
-no webman/webman mod involved

Mine shows fine without any issue.

http://store.brewology.com/get/homebrew.php?id=250&fid=2040

I got the package from here, and also I couldn't find any issue from the source as well.

I have no idea why yours can't find idps correctly

What is your irisman version? And how do you check your cid?

The new CFW won't include plugins and what you're asking is very hard

Besides when you install webman mod pkg, it already does what you ask. The CFW won't have to deal with when homebrew can take care of it easily

@aldostools

I thought the project is still under development and I was waiting for Config file implementation

I wanted to say that it would be interesting to create a folder called plugins.
This plugins folder would be the default for future plugins

Well default folder for plugins can be created by hombrews, and that's not up to myself only.

Your suggestion is nice but I won't do anything about it. Because I don't release or make plugins

Is mostlly about standarization of folders/paths inside internal hdd
I agree with you because cobra has no restrictions with the paths used to load plugins, but still moving all files related to cobra to a dev_hdd0/PLUGINS/ folder looks like a good idea, even the file boot_plugins.txt could be inside that folder

Also, years ago some devs followed like an unnofficial rule of labeling all unnofficial folders indide hdd in capitals... with the purpose of difference them from the official folders
It started with gaia, iris, multiman, with the folders GAMEZ/GAMES later PS3ISO/PS2ISO etc... and even PKG or others
The few exceptions to this are webman with the "xmlhosts" folder, the "packages" folder from rebug and few others
But in capitals looks better, is more intuitive for the user

Also, another folder name that doesnt looks fine is PSXISO... in the screencapture posted before it can be seen how are ordered
PS2ISO
PS3ISO
PSPISO
PSXISO

Could be better like this:
PS1ISO
PS2ISO
PS3ISO
PSPISO

----------
Is just a comment, i know rebug/cobra cant do much, even if you move boot_plugins.txt inside a PLUGINS folder other devs maybe will not accept that restriction, in some way is normal because is not really a restriction and some things im saying are not widelly used
And if you change the "packages" folder name to capitals only helps a bit to return to the standards used yeaars ago but is just an small part of the problem, is not going to stadarize everything in one go

I can't reproduce either. Tested on 2 slims.
Have you tried another mean of testing your idps? Anything from idpset, psnpatch, SEN or webMAN-MOD? Do they also give you a null idps?

Separate to a null idps but related to psn in DEX, in case you omitted it...
Remember you need to spoof the targetid to CEX anyway after DEX conversion before connecting to psn, have you also done that with the Toolbox?

@sandungas I don't like automatically folder creation, I even hate it. ;) Especially with upper case. But I like the idea of "dev_hdd0/plugins/" with sprx and txt. To bad that none of the plugins creators respect it. And to be honest, there is total chaos on HDD even made by Sony itself.

Neither i, capitals is like when using them in forums that looks like screaming, calling attemtion, or trolling, like "HEY_IM_HERE"
But this is also the good point, for someone that is not used to the folders in PS3 internall hdd when he opens a file manager for first time if he finds some folders in capitals he will realize are something "special"
Capitals = not part of the official firmware

So well... im good with them, i like the idea of using capitals for "non official" folders, also is something that backup managers does lot of time ago

Being picky, what i dont like is when the folders are created automatically, just for entering the backup manager, and without any advise, i find it a bit "intrusive"
But again... at this point im used to it, and everyone that used a backup manager have them, so most of the times are not created because existed already, or the user is aware of them
But it could be a good detail if there was an option in backup managers to choose if creating them or not

I couldn't agree more. And one step further: should be an option to define paths by user. ;]
I could finally store all my games in games_iso (just because I don't use PKG, "JB format" or PSX/PS2 iso). But also I can live with such hmm... limitation.

@Joonie

In rebug 4.81.1/4.81.2 PS3 games auto start when you insert a disc but dvd and bluray discs don't. Is that something you can fix?

desactive setting/Automatic disk startup/no

Sorry I wasn't clear enough, the problem I want fixing is that dvd and bluray do not autostart. I assume it's because REBUG is based on debug firmware which can't play dvd and bluray.

Do you tested that feature on any other firmware? I mean if it work previously on other CFW then for sure there is a way to make it work on REBUG.

But I'm not sure that DVD and BD work that way on any firmware.

I switched back to habib 4.81 with cobra 7.50 and it works again. I did most of my testing on rebug with cobra 7.52, which hasn't been released for habib yet. It works on habib with deank's cobra that enables burnt media though.

I'm not following latest changes in cobra so maybe @Joonie or @bguerville can help better here.

My suggestion is to use this setup on rebug:

SYSTEM MODE:
REBUG mode

XMB OPERATION MODE:
RETAIL XMB.

DEBUG MENU TYPE:
CEX QA

Cobra, and webman set to enabled. And of course set this option to ON: http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/discboot.html

This is most CEX setup available on Rebug iirc, so maybe it help. Of course this can be something related to cobra, or rebug itself. For now you can test that setup to confirm that all is ok at your side. :)
