The patch he added to fix the issue with ODE is already applied in this payload. We need to find out what else is missing.



Don't count me on that one, all my cables look damaged and the ODE isn't in good shape.

That patch was different
Perhaps we are missing few more patches or we could just hook the error function and disable these returns

Original COBRA is missing @deank's two patches, you only added those two since COBRA 7.1 and that immediately allowed ODE :)

and in this payload, those two patches are already applied
 
Best I can do is donate a cobra ode I bought for the secondary board. I'll have to check but I think it's an older version. I have a secondary board that I can donate as well but something is wrong with it. Why I got the second ode in the first place. This one was hard to find and I'm not sure you can get one unless it's coming from China. I got lucky and found this one on a buy and sell site but if you need it, it's yours.

I disabled few also in cobra there is a hook that returns 0 remember?
Maybe that could override the error, not sure

Its a 3.00 board ...good for cechL, 2k, 2k5, 3k, 4k
I have no idea what f/w is on it. and the secondary board for it is fried....something shorted out
I have all cables needed I believe. and yes its free...;)

No, mem base is already patched, its 3d90, it has to be patched because of base stage0
Theres the hook remember for drm keys?that overrides errors as well maybe its thatlr some other patch in kernel patches
Best would be test with these instances:
1.all kernel patches enabled
2.ode patch+hook or patch the pre module verification
3.try both

One of these should work for ode

Literally i dont give a damn on how it looks etc so long it works.
 
Well pm your shipping address and it's off tomorrow but like I said, the secondary board is pooched somehow. The board that the hdd plugs into. Maybe joonie can donate his. I'll ship it if you can figure it out.

I think i should wait out till someone is able to donate me that second board
If i find someone who can, ill pm you
Till then i suppose you could also do us beta tests with ode so we might not even need ode ;)
Its late now and i have school tomorrow so late tomorrow ill give you guys an update

The 3k3y distributor dropped the project after OFW 4.60 was released and stopped paying me, Sony was going rabid against ODE at this point so it was probably a smart choice.

I did release this version with swap disc support for OFW 4.55:
3k3y firmware v2.11 beta

@Joonie turns out TempMON doesn't work on Espresso stating unsupported FW and I assume it is due missing syscalls etc. And since it is based off Estwald's Control Fan Utility which hasn't been updated to 4.81 it would be pointless for me to add support. Or do you think it may work? Or any other idea of how to boost the fan speed? I don't mind an app as I know plugins aren't gonna happen as it would defeat the purpose for this. I was wondering if you had any idea which app may work that would grant me control over the fan using this FW? I tested my "stealthed" TempMON based off EU Youtube which worked while on 4.81 Rebug but once I switched back to Espresso it was a no go. Not sure why but my slim runs so darn warm especially for a 2500 model and using new thermal paste.

TempMON is a firmware dependent app and i have not seen any updates for 4.8X i do not think,

It works great on Rebug 4.81.2 REX/D-REX. I tested it on my phatty in DEX mode which is next to my PC and it worked great. ContentID & klicence were updated to use Youtube EU and everything went without a hitch. So I went back to my slim and installed Rebug 4.81.2 REX then installed the PKG. Again worked without a hitch so I was happy and formatted my HDD making it as "clean" as possible then installed my "stealthed" PSNinja, Movian & TempMON only. All of which are mimicking official PSN apps that use the TV column which is pretty much all that is used on that PS3. My girls use it for streaming Netflix, Hulu, Vue and netowrk streaming via Movian. I have made backup disc of all my kids games and gave her a booklet of them so when she wants to play she uses that instead of having access to webMAN or worse. This MFW is a dream to me as it is just what I wanted for oh so long. A way to play backups, use Movian and some sense of security while using PSN.

Yeah if it requires messing with level 1 or level 2 I don't want it done anyhow. I still have a hardware fan controller from my old CECHA-01 I will see if I can retrofit. I didn't think there would be anyway to fuss about the fan speeds software wise after reading up on it today.

There is a new hardware based fan control out there I will see about getting if my older one doesn't work. I get my tax check for about 6k on the first so I'll just buy it then if needed. Till then I will just deal with the syscon taking care of the temps.

I have a way to clear my logs via a PS Ninja app I did the way you did Movian. Those two are all I wanted/needed on there anyhow. One disguised as Vidzone and the other YouTube. Now if I can just find the link for that new fan controller I will be all set with my slim.
